LMAO I am glad to be at my school in Australia, We have speakers like that - But that's just the bell. For emergencies we have those sort of dug in hole speaker things in the roof, and that's where the emergency fire comes from; And lock down siren is a tornado siren...We used it because we don't really get tornado's here...Almost at all! So we used a tornado siren...Well it sounds like one.
Those kids need to be guided towards activities that'll do more for their creativity than battling with speakers?.. where are their ideal role models? Looks like they found some of their own. Gobsmacked!
And how do you expect kids to get a job? lol. Most are under 16 or 17 and can't get a job because their dumb asses don't go to school. So they need WINZ.
I don't get it. If you want to listen to music, use headphones, or use a speaker made for music, not mass notification. These speakers are made for alert tones, and have music sound shit on them. My School had TOA Siren horns outside of the main hall, and sounded fine for announcements and tones. Sounded terrible for music.

The other angle the reporters could have looked at is the music produced for these battles. Its actually quite good and original. Only made here. And that these kids are using music instead of their fists.
Guide our children to do whats right! If my child was to come home with a siren on his/her bike The first thing id say is where did they get it from. These kids have iphones but no helmets!!! And yes he is right "Taken a siren Is like taking a life" BUT you cant give a life back!
