Taggart | 25 Years of Murder | UKTV Documentary (2008) 

Finally got the full boxed set after years of dithering, and I can't wait to get stuck in. I was 18 when the show started and am 55 now .... So it'll be a great trip down memory lane. I think the main thing a lot of people remember about the programme is how dark the crimes were and how the plots drew you in. A brilliant show, loved by me as a Londoner, who now lives two hours north of Glasgow.

This is one of the best TV series ever! Please keep Taggart going on for years to come. Never get tired of the outstanding stories and characters .

Mark was one hell of an actor sadly sadly missed .

Amazing! I love this documentary. I am 50 years old now and have been watching Taggart since it's conception. I remember the death of Mark McManus in 1994, I had just celebrated my birthday and heard heard the sad news....

Brilliant!....Watch the show here in Canada on You Tube...got hooked....Just into the second Taggart....Looking forward to much more........Thank you all for this brilliant production...

Mark was one of the best a superb actor and i have been told in real life very very good with the fans buying them tea talking with them during filming etc .. the man is and was a legend.

I was devastated when James Macpherson left. I have never watched watched Death Trap. Currently on watching the series on STV On Freeview. Never watched it again after James left. Was never the same again for me unfortunately.

Watching poor mark getting ill on screen was hard to watch the last 6 episodes he was in he looked so ill but still managed to hold it together i think he had also ben banned from driving ...

Great cop series would of loved to see the first couple of series as I live in aus. we did not get the first couple of seasons but I have seen all the others, ashame it had to end.

Mark McManus was a very talented actor and I hear he was a really lovely, funny man. Shame both he and his brother Brian Connelly drank themselves to death. Well actually. . . Hearing about all the terrible things that happened to him in the last year of his life; sounds more like he died of a broken heart x

I love this show, and it is impossible to find & watch series 5-17. Hulu has series 18 to the series end, and Britbox has series 1-4. Anyone know how to get he rest of the series?

I loved Taggart. He was a great example of old school. I loved it. If I could have chosen my own family I would have kept my dad of course but to have uncles etc who were proper old school .. no bullshit with them.. it's men like this. Not because he was a copper.. it's his attitude.
