Tagore Songs By Aditi Mohsin
Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel laureate poet, writer, philosopher was the ambassador of Indian culture to the rest of the world. He is probably the most prominent figure in the cultural world of Indian subcontinent and the first Asian person to be awarded with the Nobel prize. Even though he is mainly known as a poet, his multifaceted talent showered upon different branches of art, such as, novels, short stories, dramas, articles, essays, painting etc. And his songs, popularly known as Rabindrasangeet, have an eternal appeal and is permanently placed in the heart of the Bengalis. He was a social reformer, patriot and above all, a great humanitarian and philosopher.

The best ever "darao amar akhir age" (this was a very favorite song of my late mother Minati Lahiri- Ray: a graduate of Dakhhini, Shreya's grandfather's music school). Tagore Song is not simply a song itself what we understand. This is an expression of mind and soul taken together like the way a devotee prostrates in full devotion to God indifferent towards the surroundings. Aditi takes the listeners of her songs to that eternal domain filled with pure aromatic fervour to feel themselves far away from bustle and bin of this temporal world as if they are resurrected. She is herself a deity dedicated to a very solemn mission. God bless her.

Please assist Aditi, if possible as you proposed in widening her web presence internationally as she has already become an internationally acclaimed ' Robindrasongeet Shilpi '. If you do it you will do justice to the serious Tagore Song Lovers all over the globe who yearn to listen to these songs

After many days of break, I was listening to these songs rendered by Adithi this morning and what I felt with her attainment of such a degree of perfection in her quality of rendition which has reached the pinnacle of achievement, she should sing more frequently in Dhaka and Kolkata to quench the yearning ears of the true Tagore Song lovers. There should be more frequent stage live programme overseas. She is undoubtedly one of the finest Tagore Song Exponents ever born !

Aditi herself is goddess Saraswati. And in the Rigveda , Aditi is the mother of the Indian sun-god. As for our Aditi, Aditi the singer of the lyrics of a bearded Indian poet, -- is the end of the world. There is nothing after Aditi or before Aditi. Aditi is higher than both Suchitra and Kanika. ADITI THE ULTIMATE.

অদিতি মহসিন ভালো সংগীতশিল্পী। এই সময়ের পাঁচ জন রবীন্দ্রসংগীতশিল্পীর নাম বলতে গেলে তাঁর নাম আসবেই। একজন এ সময়ের বিখ্যাত শিল্পী তো সজ্জা আর শয্যার তফাৎ করতে পারেন না। তাঁর থেকে অদিতি ঢের ভালো হলেও যাঁরা তাঁর উচ্ছ্বসিত প্রশংসা করছেন তাঁরা বোধহয় কেএল সায়গলের বা দেবব্রত বিশ্বাসের গান শোনেননি।

খুব জানতে ইচ্ছে করে পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের মহিলাকে সেদেশের সরকার, জনগণ কি করে বিধর্মীর গান গাইতে দিচ্ছেন ? প্রতিটি মুহূর্তে যারা বিধর্মীদের মুন্ডচ্ছেদ চায় তারা কি করে অনুমতি দেয় গান গাওয়ার??

আপনাকে আরো অনেক কিছু জানতে হবে খোকন| প্রথমত পূর্ব পাকিস্তান ভূতপূর্ব হয়ে গেছে| "বিধর্মীর গান" বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় সঙ্গীত| অবাক হয়ে গেলাম কি করে মনের মধ্যে এতো ঘৃণা নিয়ে আপনি রবীন্দ্রসংগীত শুনতে এলেন তাও আবার অদিতির গাওয়া গান! সত্য সেলুকাস, বড় বিচিত্র এই "bhakt"কুল|
