Just catching this video for the first time. Have to say the room seems a bit outdated, but the rest of the resort looks pretty cool. Like the Polynesian look, the lazy river pool, plus I had no idea Tahiti Village has its own luau on Sundays. My question is do you have to be staying there to catch the luau or dine at one of the restaurants?

Thanks for checking out the video! You’re right, the room could use some updates, and fortunately, portions of the resort were being upgraded during the time of filming. The Polynesian theme and lazy river are definitely highlights of Tahiti Village. As for the luau, it’s exclusive to resort guests and timeshare residents. However, most of the restaurants are open to the public, so you can still enjoy a meal even if you're not staying there.

We’re here now and for the last couple of days. We have not had a very good experience here with house keeping. Beware. We’ve set up three times now for service. Haven’t seen anyone yet and it’s almost 5pm. They keep promising but have done nothing. We’re about ready to cut our trip short. They do have excellent pizza and meatball sandwiches. Lazy river is kinda kool especially with kids. Lots of kid stuff to do.

Sorry to hear of the housekeeping issues. Hopefully they were resolved, and you didn't have to cut the trip short. I agree, the pizza and meatball sandwich are good.

I really like this one, Nevada Jack! I like that they don't stock the refrigerator, and the grill and go is such a great idea. Lazy rivers are the best. This seems like a great place to stay 😊

Thanks so much Jack. I wasn’t really aware of this place and hadn’t looked into it. While watching I looked it up and prices I suppose aren’t bad though they do the usual resort fees Vegas thing wish they would all hang that practice up and just all post a total price together. I loved your wrap up at end so much good information to know before going including the concierge. I really hate that time share thing. Hopefully they let you walk away from that without too much harassment. Thank you so much again love these on the spot reports you do.

Thanks for your kind words. The time share pitch was one of the softest I've encountered. A simple no won't have time, and I was on my way. Like any resort in Las Vegas the prices flux with what's going on; however, the prices as you noted seem to be lower. One thing not covered on the video is the shuttle service the hotel offers. They have a shuttle that takes guests to a local grocery store every morning. The extortion fees, aka resort fees are ridiculous. This property does have free parking, so that is a savings compared to other hotels.

@@NevadaJack true free parking is becoming a big bonus. Interesting on the groceries shuttle. I just wish all hotels would just wrap all cost into the base price. I think it would balance out.
