Tai has better stamina it looks like and Derrick is known for bad cardio and he is a powerhouse but he did get a taste of his own medicine by a knockout he is a knockout artist too so it’s impressive for tai

@@italianstalian331 BAM BAM was actually a training partner of Mark Hunt, Mark Hunt has a far more decorated fighting career at this point but because he spent his best years kick boxing you might not recognize from his UFC career, I do believe BAM BAM is continuing the Legacy of Mark Hunt and he’s doing a fantastic job with many entertaining fights on the horizon win or lose.

how can you not love this guy, always puts on a show no matter what. walks out to the octagon with a hilarious song everytime, then you know theres gonna be a knockout in less than 25 mins, then he hops on top of the cage and skulls a beer from a shoe (called a shooey here down under), then goes amongst the fans on the way out to have more shooeys. what a legend

The UFC fighters can trully be classified in tiers, looking at how derrick and tuivasa's both rely on their ability to take a hit and fearsome knockout power who in their good days will will unleash terror on most opponents and then cyril gane comes along and outclasses both is a testament to this.

I think Gane has too much mobility and reach for Tuivasa, but when a guy has the kind of knockout power that Tai has, you only have to be wrong once to lose. Tai definitely has the potential to make it interesting, though I expect that Gane is just going to pick him apart and frustrate him from range, like he did to Derrick Lewis.

He is half Samoan on his father's side. His mother however is a person from Australia who is a light skinned Australian Aboriginal, meaning ultimately his mother is like a half cast person. It means ultimately Tai is 50% Samoan, and probably 25% European and 25% Australian Aboriginal.
