I am in Northern Vietnam in a village called Pu Luong, Surrounded by lush rice fields, this area is home to Black Tai people, the third largest ethnic group of the country. Rice fields are the source of life for the families in this region. In addition to rice cultivation, every family owns fish ponds to grow carp. Tam, a Tai native, fishes with a spread net and prepares the fish with vegetables collected from this region. After enjoying the fish, I take a walk through the rice fields. The air is fresh. Everyone I come across on the mountain slopes are healthy. Is this the place to live to become a centenarian? Enjoy!
