This is one of best public presentation of Xi Yang Mei. With firm stances (there were two small glitches, but this is normal in such conditions) and perfectly synchronized with music.

The name of the song is Chinese Kung Fu, by Honggang Tu.

Tremendous Faye. These routines are so hard to do properly. It amazes me how Master Faye keeps her composure even after finishing such a demanding routine. It is one thing to watch it and quite another to perform it. These routines are hard graft!! Well done Faye! :-)

This is a very good demonstration of the form. I learned this form from my wife's shifu in China. What I learned is a little different, but basically the same as this.

I like the way Master Li performs fan, because it looks functional and martial. Most people just look good, but its not generally martial enough.
