Taika's First Jiu-Jitsu Tournament!

No actually in the podcast where they talk about how Taika started having seizures, he cried because he was so upset at himself for thinking Taika was just playing around

I feel the same way. Am not a parent yet ( my videos I have are way back when I was in school haha) but seeing that strong emotion in Bart was like a very VERY proud moment. You can also see the where Bart switches into a showing him what his dad didn’t teach or show him which too me makes me get a 😢. Am also in a divorce family and all so I totally understand that perspective in his life. I’ve never really got involved in this sport but still great to see. You can tell Taika is slowly getting into it and becoming very serious when it’s time for his competition or match. You can also tell Taika became more focus especially when Bart told him he won a medal in his first match and then that instantly switch in his brain of lets go !!!

@@TheRealQuestie16 yea my parents divorced before I was 2 years old. I’m still very close with my dad but never grew up with him in the household. Through my soccer games in elementary school, karate classes in middle school, football games throughout highschool, he was never there to watch me. I hold nothing against him because I love him to death, but seeing Bart get emotional hit me hard. One day I want to be there like Bart was for taika. Bart could’ve let his competitive side take over and show disappointment for whatever reason but he knew exactly how to act towards taika and it shows by how taika is excited to participate in jiu jitsu. Very heart felt video. Thanks for sharing some of your story

Oh gosh, Go, Taika, go!!!! It feels like it was yesterday when he was a baby
