[TAIKAN JAPAN] Lecture video 1: Japanese art of flower arrangement IKEBANA with Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Tú 

TAIKAN JAPAN is a series of Lecture videos and Workshops created to introduce, unfold many Japanese cultures in an easy-to-understand manner, from traditional crafts to mass culture, featuring Vietnamese professionals and clubs.
The first cultural theme of #taikanjapan is Japanese art of flower arrangement IKEBANA, featuring Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tu (Ikebana lecturer, Ikenobo Vietnam Central Study Group).

GUEST PROFILE
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tu started her journey with Ikebana since 2010, shortly after her moving to Japan. In 2017, she returned to Vietnam and under the permission from her Ikebana school (Ikenobo Society of Floral Art), she has opened her own Ikebana classes and contributed to the expanding of Ikebana in Vietnam by oraganizing workshops, exhibitions; publishing books; opening Ikebana House.
Regarding her collaboration with The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, she taught an Ikebana workshop in 2017 and judged for "Ikebana contest through photos" in 2020. This year, she will be teaching in our workshop and lecture video as part of TAIKAN JAPAN - Let's experience Japanese culture.
