The first boss and as a training session for the boss battle feature of the game. Mechadon! I created translation subs on the bottom right tab by the settings.
FINALLY! English subtitles are now in this video, thank God I've waited 2 years for this to happen... EDIT: I noticed some mistakes, like Kat-chan is spelled "Kacchan", and Arumi is spelled "Alumi".
Kat-chan and Kacchan are pretty similar to each other and are interchangeable IMO Alumi is the correct spelling, whereas Arumi is a literal reading of the katakana
Mecha don: "I'M NOTHING BUT NUTS AND BOLTS. The LOSERS FROM THE FESTIVAL, MADE MECHA SCRAP OUTTA ME..." Me: "That's terrible. Don't worry I'll get you fix right away!"
So are Don and Kat siblings or something? I don't actually know. They seem to be together a lot so it does lead me to believe they are indeed siblings.
The tics in particular being a very Japanese form of grammar are kinda hard to fit in a completely different language. I mean, I could maybe fit "Nora" into another part of the sentence, but I'm also trying to keep the consistency in language.
In Alumi's special case, I thought it would be easy to keep it at the end. I mean she technically is young, so for instance, as I write it out as a script, say for the part at 0:10, I wrote it out as "Uh oh! Uh oh! Not good -nanora!" But honestly it just comes to preferences I guess XD Glad to see you're still alive though :)
