Pretty straightforward installation of the Dish Tailgater and Wally receiver, set up the antenna so it can be mounted on the tripod or on the ground using the "hooks" as feet. Reason I put on a separate antenna port is the antenna may not work through the normal "cable" port since that goes through a splitter and relay system and also I have a pretty good antenna and if I get local channels I can watch those through the TV input as well as on the bedroom TV while watching Dish on the front. This system is available from many sources (Amazon, Ebay), Couple of links for Dish sites

What i don’t understand is it can be mounted to the rv roof. So you have to be mindful to the direction the dish is pointed.?

In order to be able to lock onto satellites it has to be pointed towards the Southern sky, Yes it can be mounted to the roof but if hard mounted you would have to always point the motorhome in the general direction that the antenna is mounted which would be unrealistic-there is a mount base that can be rotated but that would require getting on the roof every time you changed locations and the other problem with that is what if you are at a site that has a large overhanging above that would impede the signal which is why having the antenna with a long coax on the ground and movable to an optimal position!

good video but damn I could of fallen asleep never seen someone open a box and describe something that took 16 mins that was the worst part of the video,Oh wait no the worse was seening how he had the wiring threw the RV went other wise it was ok

Sorry if I didn't meet your professional standards but I am just a guy that likes showing some of the stuff I do, I don't get any add revenue or other compensation just the thought that someone might learn something is fine. As to my wire run just how would you do it without tearing up walls or other things? BTW you spelled (through) wrong. (probably shouldn't watch any of my other videos as I am very slow and amateurish in all)
