Part 2 of 3 from this track. I travel from Tailings Hut to the Mt Ida hut. This was such a cool place to visit, but tricky to show on video without being too long and boring. Hope you enjoy.

It's such an amazing place, totally different to what I'm used to in Northland. Can't wait to go back there..

How much of the under carriage is left of that Subaru? lol... I've done that track twice now. I would not attempt with the car you're using...you are a mad man! Hanging out for the last bit down the Hawkesdown range.

Haha, there are a few battle scars under there, but actually not bad. It definitely requires the right technique, a 'Do not try this at home' kind of thing :) I hope to have the next part out in the next couple weeks, just need to finish the editing.
