GUYS step 6 is not good to learn!!! It will make you more comfortable with landing with onw foot and it will be super hard to learn the tailwhip. I did the same and couldnent learn it so i restarted and focused on lansing with both feet close to the board but not on it. Trust me this is a pro tip i learnt from a professional rider so make sure to do it instead! Thanks for reading this comment and there is no hate to the creator this is an amazing video. The tecnice will also help you commit to new harder tricks in the future. And im telling you this as a person with good experience but you can always do it your way.
This tut is good for complete beginners, but later on as you progress, you may want, and will, change the technique of the tailwhip to a more advanced level. But good tutorial
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, KICK WITH YOUR FRONT FOOT. Getting used to kicking the deck with your back foot will disable you from progressing to learning overhead tricks that require front foot kicking as well as multi whip tricks and other kick tricks. They all require a front foot kick and getting used to back foot will slow you down so much.
So this is how everybody teach it, but there's a secret, what no one introduce, it's simple you just need to put your first foot a bit slanted on the deck and that's it!
