Welcome to my few-day food tour in Taipei! I start off with a rich bowl of beef noodle soup in Yongkang Street literally called Yongkang Beef Noodles. It was delicious and I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
The next day, I headed to Beitou to a spa in the mountains called Emperor Spa. It was only $30 for a private room for 70 minutes. It covered both of us and even included a tasty meal -- crab congee! It was humongous and we could barely finish it. Even though it was only $30 for the entire package, they definitely did not cheap out on the congee's crab meat. It was such a steal and the perfect way to end a spa day.
Afterwards, we headed over to Tam Siu to grab a few snacks and of course, play the claw machines. We're addicted for sure. At least we won a few trinkets. We headed back to Taipei to Shilin Night Market where we grabbed several snacks -- the classic pepper bun, Taiwanese meatball, popcorn chicken, and fried fish cakes. Right after, we stopped by a camping-themed bar called Noobtent with Alex's friends. We could even bring our night market food inside.
Hope you enjoy and let me know what you end up getting in Taipei!
