I'm a big Blond fan and not too big a Taisuke fan but, I would give this battle to Taisuke. He had slightly better musicality just as much difficulty in moves and better footwork. Still a really dope battle, glad to see Blond finally take a competition after so many attempts.

I think that it's sometimes hard to see the difficulty in Taisukes sets.

He is adding more speed on his very clean moves and there aren't many bboys who can do so much damage in short rounds like he does

Blond won imo as well but props to Taisuke. Looked like he wasnt really trying like he was against Morris. What will it take for him to be serious hah.

I would have given the first round to blond, second round a tie (ignoring the mishap with Taisuke, which is probably what the judges did given that Taisuke was very close to the centre). Overall Blonde had the better moves with fewer repeats throughout the competition whereas Taisuke had better flow. Blond wins, the end.

blond took it for me. taisuke definitely had better musicality but i think thats js cus his moves are much faster. blonds was a little off at times but i think its cus its much more difficult. and he has tat groving style foot work

I would give the first round to taisuke, and tie on the second. Its really hard ro judge, two totally different styles. It depends what the judge is looking for. Taisuke was clean, all rounded and with musicality

taisuke's first set man, 0:50-1:00 was buttery smooth, it was something special. blonde is a technical/powermove master, and it's impressive, but he doesn't "dance". taisuke may have lost this one but you can't deny that he has style and he knows how to dance to the music, and that's what matters to me. not to mention he is also capable of some crazy power as well. search this vid, you can see the complete package: Taisuke Criticals R16 2011. this is my personal humble opinion, but bboying to me is about dancing and style. one of the greatest examples of that is bboy born.

Taisuke won for me here, Blonde is impressive, don't get me wrong. But all he does is throw big moves without any musicality or foundation. He didn't hit any beats, not even with his tops in this battle. Taisuke's first set was on beat, on point and versatile

This battle is genius versus genius and all of things taisuke can perform r just a fake. 4 if u don't know about Blond when he win all of power-move genius bboys when he at 18 years old :))
