The votes for the third round: two ties, two Taisuke, one Cheerito. Taisuke just barely won. It's not like the judges unanimously voted for Taisuke; then it'd be fucked up. But I can accept what happened here because it was more of a fluke than the judges all being biased.

Why was it bullshit. Each judge makes his separate decisions, it's not boxing, where all judges make a common decision on point distribution. It's not that hard to get, yet no one realises it and complains like a dumbfuck

You can't blame the judges for the choices the other judges made. Yeah, quite a lot of decisions were weird in BC One, but hey, there will always be people complaining. Also, I think a lot of people blow it out of proportions because their favorite bboy got knocked out. Still, to me the system is stupid, they should rate the whole performance instead of separate rounds. If one bboy wins two round by the skin of his hair and the other bboy smokes him in the 3rd round, it means the second bboy was better overall. Still, there's no way to get perfectly justified decisions since every person has their own preferences, every person values footwork, power moves, musicality, orginilaity etc. at a different rate, so a reasonable decision for one might seem ridiculous for the other. The best system would probably be to let the judges make a common decision, instead of everyone voting on their own.

Marco fuggeduup The End's judging was really level as well. I pretty much agreed with all the votes he put out on the night. But hey, BC One is over. Maybe next time it'll be better. No point flaming about it now.

For me, Cheerito won 3rd round because I value originality on beat over most aspects but this was a great battle and hope to see him there next year.

I'm a Taisuke fan too and I was shocked to see him go through to the finals...

Wrong. Look at Cherrito's face after his last performance. You can see the concern in his face. He was great- but that last round he ended WAY too quick- which usually is Taisuke's weakness as the judges point out, but it was arguably the shortest of any of the rounds in their whole match; which granted doesn't mean good or bad, but when you got someone whose technique relies on little details as is pointed out here and in the match with Gravity, it's best put as those serve as your strength like a character trait. When you end too soon, there's no showing off your character if you barely show it, you know? Don't get me wrong. Round 1 and 2? Completely accurate.

Taisuke did his signature moves, did a full round of traditional breaking (footwork, toprock, freeze) and then topped it all off with power, style, transitions and freeze. Cheerito was dope but every round consisted of original moves, and freezes. Cheerito needed more variation to win this battle. Originality is good, but to be the best in a judges perspective you need to be all rounded and know when to utilize the skill set.
