In this video we will show you the place we stayed in JiuFen. It has an amazing and out of this world scenery and vibe! The interior was super clean and comfy. The staffs were super friendly! They were above and beyond to help us take our luggages from our car all the way down the stairs to our room in the rain! ❤️. (We made a mistake of not packing light for the night so we had to carry our luggages down and up the stairs from the car to the hotel room😔).
Summer is the rainy season in Taiwan. So it's good idea to bring umbrellas with you and wear waterproof outfit/shoes (Thank god I wore my Vessi sneakers and they stayed dry even in pouring rain!!). The hotel does provide a couple of light rain coats. The staffs were so sweet to lend us umbrellas ❤️

The next morning the weather cleared up and we finally were able to enjoy the beautiful ocean view😍
After a brief exploration of Jiufen in the morning, we headed to Shen`ao to try out the rail bike! There are only two rail bike places in Taiwan, and this is one of them. The whole ride took about 20-30 mins one way, and you can choose to go round trip. Because we had a private guide who drove to the destination and waited for us, we only rode one-way. It was a fun and unique experience, and we highly recommend it as a family activity near JiuFen!
