Stop being a bunch of clowns. There is no way Taiwan can defeat China even with American help Taiwan is an island. It imports 57% of its food and 98% of its oil and gas from abroad. China doesn't even have to invade Taiwan. China just has to launches a blockade of Taiwan. The island will run out or everything in 2 to 3 weeks and people will stave to death. Look at the middle east The Houthis don't even have a navy and they are blockading all trade to Israel through the red sea. The US navy can't even defeat the Houthis blockade of Israel through the the red sea. Just a few weeks ago the US aircraft carrier Eisenhower got hit by a Houthi anti ship missile and had to return to base. How the hell are this same US navy going to defeat a prospective Chinese blockade of Taiwan? Nevermind the fact that China anti air weapons cover the entire Taiwanese air space from the Mainland coast. Chinese missiles and artillery can hit moving US warships from 4000 Km away. It l gets even better. Pentagon officials have testified before congress that 40% of all semi conductors used in US weapons are manufacturered in Mainland China. The other 60% of all the other semiconductors used in US weapons, a huge part of them are manufacturered in guess what, Taiwan. What is going to happen to US weapons production when they can get the semiconductors from Mainland China of from Taiwan? China's industrial capacity is larger than the next 9 countries combined. China's manufactures 12x more steel than the United States, 200x more shipping tonnage than the United States, graduates 7x to 8 times more Engineers, Technicians, Mathematicians and Scientists than the US. China's population is also 4x to 5x larger than the United States. And China has Russia and the rest of Eurasia to provide it with all sorts of energy, raw materials, food, natural resources and additional military industrial manufacturing capacity. If China goes to war it will mobilize its entire industrial manufacturing capacity into full scale war production of weapons and ammunition. They will out manufacture the US in weapons and ammunition, in things such as warships, submarines, tanks, drones, missiles, and artillery into oblivion. They will also mobilize tens of millions and tens of millions of men into the PLA. And Taiwan is only 78 miles off China while 7000 miles away from the US. How the hell is Taiwan going to win that fight? Are you people insane. With Russia and China together not even the whole world together can defeat such a massive and colossus force. You would need 3 United States to fight against that massive technological, scientific and industrial colossus. China and Russia are not 2 countries. China and Russia are an entire continent. The United States does not have the industrial base and capacity to fight a peer to peer conflict against China. All US service brands are not meeting their recruitment quotas. The US could not fight such a war without a draft and fills dale conscription Can you imagine any US administration calling for a draft of Americans to go and fight China off Taiwan. There would be a civil war. The hell would Americans accept bringing back the draft to go to against China. Not this generation. That is not a no. That is a hell no. The US can't even match Russia's military industrial capacity. It's dilusional to think the US could fight nevermind win such a war against China unless they are willing to commit national wide suicide, use nuclear weapons and sacrifice their major cities and their entire population.

@@ymlee71It does belong to China, every country except 7 recognized Taiwan as part of China including the USA, the West wants to create wars to benefit selling weapons to Taiwan, there are forces in Taiwan that wants peaceful reunification with the mainland but there are forces that are sponsored by the West that wants independence.

@ymlee71 should be focusing on resolving the situation peacefully. The only way to do that is to reunite. I think also you have overlooked the fact that a substantial part of the population is from the mainland. Anyway if Taiwan were to reunite I think from and economic perspective would be huge growth. They would become the Hawaii of China. Finally they need to do what is right and reunite with their family.
