Embassy premises belong to the country who's occupying that particular building. And no government has got a right to tell another country's Embassy to move unless they're expelling them out of South Africa.
@@Stirlingshirecastle Taiwan only has a liason office, not an embassy. Hence why they've been requested to move to Johannesburg. They do not qualify to have an embassy.
We wish Steenhuisen travels to Russia, it will be interesting to see the welcome they give him considering his comments in 2022 when he visited Ukraine.
@@biko8229 It is a shame that the man on the street has no freedom in Russia. Putin rules them with an iron fist, if he does not like you, you will either be sent to the gulag or thrown out of a high rise window. Same in North Korea. We are lucky to have so much freedom in SA.
Is because they are weak and coward. They like to please people too much. Hence the issue with foreigners and these NGOs that rule the courts.....😮😢. We are lead by bunch of idiots that only know how to steal and making deals that don't benefit the country
My people have been fooled. After years of investment these trading partners from the East even bring their own labor. North West, Free State, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Gauteng, especially in mining and construction. With Makro, Ford, BMW, VW we can see the difference in Pretoria.
When did China obtain this land, please provide a date. If black businesses feel more comfortable with China they should go with their gut feeling and if white businesses prefers the West and USA they should go with them, each to his own. You cannot force relationships.
But this is Democracy and if DA thinks we are to allow them to bully us they must forget John is right when he says they will consider the interest of the country meaning the majority that is at least my understanding.
@@mosesmoeketsi3501 The DA cannot bully black businesses or white businesses as their are private not governmental. The state has no say in private businesses.
The Chinese Hans, who are the majority culture in China, moved to the island in the 17th century. The current government of Taiwan is the KMT, which use to govern mainland China before they lost the civil war in the 1940's.
ANC must dump DA and go back home to EFF and MKP. This moonshot pact plus ANC is a fit riddled with contradictions. SA must not miss the wave of escaping noecon world influence as it is doing being part of BRICS.
Jacob zuma is the one who got us into BRICS, the professor is being prejudice, Maite Nkwana then foreign minister, went up and down to make sure we entered. This professor is a NUTTY professor 😂😅😂😅
Taiwan is the country formed by the former Japanese territories of Formosa, Pescadores and Spratley's when Japan renounced all claims over these territories. Taiwan has never belonged to China. The Chinese troops that occupy Formosa were sent by General Douglas MacArthur as a Allied Forces contingent, not as a new sovereign. South Africa should not toe the Chinese line but should seek the truth.
For the people who say China should let Taiwan alone. Yes, China should leave Taiwan alone, like South Africa should let Capetown be on its own, or the US let Hawaii be on its own, right? Taiwan is a province of China, not an independent country. The barbaric ones who practice colonialism use devide and conquer, and proxies as the number method to subjugation others and maintain their dominance. Under any condition we Africans must not allow our countries to be partitioned to make room for other people. We must not have an Israel or a proxy of the evil colonial West under any other name on the continent.
its not as simple as that. technically taiwan and china are at war still. The difference between your analogy is that taiwan is recognised by some nations as a sovereign state, 12 of them being in the united nations. China seems to be buying taiwan denounciation from countries world wide.
@@DavidHarsant1It's nor necessarily buying. The UN voted not to recognise Taiwan as a independent nation in the 1970's. The PRC are recognised as the only legitimate Chinese state.
@@musethashonisani1537Under the One China policy, which is globally recognised, Taiwan is actually a province of the PRC. The statement isn't entirely incorrect.
