The perfect word to describe Taj Mahal is Wow.The fist time I visited India with my husband I can remember clearly an Indian national who told me.Remember India seeing from your eyes rather than on photographs.We walked to reach the darwaza and everything along the way there was like walking to heaven.The second time was with my chidren.Took time to observe the motifs nd the calligraphy..The size and the architecture was splendid.I still remember vividly about our visits till today.

The thing you said about it's size is so true. The Taj, and so to say, all the other Mughal architectures are so mesmerizingly huge that they make man feel so tiny and insignificant.

In 2007 I made an excursion to India for three months (Delhi,Kolkata).A friend brought me to Agra and I have visited TAJ MAHAL...I have never in my Life seen such a wonderful sign of Love..The impressions I cannot describe...A very Special athmosphere..around the Mausoleum and inside.Einzigartig Worldwide..In the moonlight the TAJ MAHAL looks like Silver,in sunshine golden..I will never forget this impression!Love and Peace! taj mahal is entirely persian, its the best example of indo-persian architecture, other than the lotus petals on the top of the onion dome and the mughal flower and vine motifs, the entire structure and architecture of taj mahal is persian in nature

After Shah Jahan's wife who a was Persian lady, her Persian name was Arjmand Banoo and in India her name was Momtaz mahal, died during her pregnancy, the Taj Mahal was commissioned in 1631 to built in a memory of his wife. The Taj Mahal incorporates and expands on design traditions of Persian. Its architecture was a Persian, Ahmad Lahouri. This place is a symbol of Love. And Shah Jahan was also buried there. Although you had promised an upcoming video of the Taj Mahal, I wasn’t expecting it until Saturday. Waking up to find it this morning was a pleasantly surprising way to start the day. I accompanied my Father for our trip around the world in the summer of 1967 when I was just 13 years old. It was a bumpy two-hour drive from New Delhi to Agra. We took a tour inside the Taj Mahal. And I can't find any photographs of the interior anywhere online. There are gemstones inlaid in the walls and even some floors. My Father wanted to pitch investing in a plastics materials plant there but the laws were too restrictive on foreign investments. His meeting with Indira Gandhi was canceled the day before it was to take place by her people. My Father gave up on investing in India.

Just returned from india with family, went to see Taj mahal . Taj itself didnt disappoint but oh my god the area around it and incompetent people working there made it an aweful experience. Its so filthy around there that it is disgusting. India have major hygiene and waste problem. plastic is eveywhere on roads and streets, cows running wild, dogs everywjhere. Unfortunatley its has put me off from visiting again miles off!

@@jose000 Nothing? Really? Taj Mahal was constructed by "army" but Coral Castle by `single` individual. I was not comparing but they are not rivals. You missed my point. Those are similar projects done differently so neither better or worse.

@@jose000 Well i like both. Why compare anyway? Both are unique. But when it comes to competition they are uncomparable. Titanic also was built by many people so cannot compare to small boat maker. Background story matters.

Notice the foresighting technique of architecture here...the inscriptions look like they are of the same size even if you are looking at the highest one from bottom to top.

Please do and do you know this mausoleum is of Persian architecture. Mughal empire adopted the Persian flag as well as its culture because the turco mongols weren't advanced compared to others

I can't believe my colleague who is Australian, kept complaining about Agra back in 2018. She complained how dirty it was and there's nothing to see except the Taj Mahal. Moral, if you cannot handle cultural differences and cannot value other cultures please avoid traveling. She even complained about the Eiffel Tower. I was looking at her like "you must be mad." She's just one of those ladies who complains about everything while she's nothing but a joke upon humanity. I personally love India. I visited the Taj back in 1997 and I wanna visit again. To travel somewhere you must know the things you should do at each place, for example trying out their famous biryani and cuisine, and shop the best Attars (natural perfume oils) that represents the specialty of that place. I personally LOVE to shop perfumes; India is famous for creating different Attars. Hence, if you ever visit India, don't forget to buy Attars from Old Delhi which is known as Chandni Chowk ❤🌹
