I love the feeling of safety coming from this video. Alone, night and snow... this is exactly how I imagine perfect night walk :) I would roam around the whole night, just a hot tee and cookies in backpack :)
I miss Japan too. Why? Beautiful people. Beautiful and unique country. They impressed me with how they cherish and respect nature and life... like the elderly lady living alone in the hills, thanked her chicken for laying an egg for her... and how they work to perfection in all they do. 'The Professionals ' on NHK Japan shows sheer dedication. Awesome 👍
Due to the pandemic, I couldn't be in Takayama to see the beautiful town in snow. I miss the old lady selling mitarashi dango near the bridge. I miss everything there. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video.

Great cinematographic taste. The most beautiful RU-vid video I can think of. Seen thousands since 2007. 7:58 - 8:12 is particularly noteworthy. The star/planet in the sky is a stroke of great luck. If viewers haven't experienced this in real life, let me tell you _it is magical_. It looks even more amazing than on video. And the snow seems to absorb a lot of sound, so there's a very peaceful quiet all around.

It's awesome. I've been to Takayama 5 years ago in spring, and this snowy atmosphere is really wonderful. The only missing element is Lady Snowblood, waiting behind some of the wooden gates and eager to decorate the snow with red.
