Happy Hanukkah. I am muslim so as my husband but my in laws are French Christians so when they visit us in North America for the holidays I take it upon myself to cook a Christmas dinner for them with an American flair of course! the donuts included!! You have no idea the amount of joy they express every time they spend the holidays with us. Food can be really magical in the way it brings us together!! Happy Hanukkah again and God bless
@Peachyy Breeze you can definitely bask in the darkness of your hate and ignorance. Just to enlighten your stupid idiot limited mind, the Middle East is the cradle.of Judaism Christianity as well as Islam, so crawl back to your moms basement and stfu
Sonya, you are the first woman I’ve never met who has really had an impact on me. Your cleanliness and calmness is so inspiring. You also help me with lot of new recipes.
It was so lovely to see your little boy sharing the stirring with his sister without even needing to be asked. When they all said, "Amen" with such joy and sincerity I almost cried!
Happy Hanukkah from your Christian friends! We love watching your channel. Your children are so sweet and the love in your home comes through the videos.
The donuts and breads look awesome and delicious, but the true stars of this video are your absolutely adorable children. Thank you for sharing them with us. Happy Hanukkah to you and your family.
The donuts, and the filming of them, was incredible. Anybody who thinks that kosher cooking isn't delicious and creative knows nothing about cooking. Just like anyone who incorrectly things that a life is restrictive.
Love your culture. My roommate In college is Jewish and I was always so grateful when his family would include me in Passover, Chanaukah, etc. sharing cultures is beautiful. I grew up in an area with no Jewish people so I’m glad I got to learn
Happy Hannukah!! Look at these beautiful children!! It's so nice to watch you cooking with them, I really enjoy it. Such a lovely family. Definitely going to try this recipe for donuts!!! Many Blessings.
I love your videos and your prep for Shabbat. I am a single woman Jewish woman and could not imagine sitting down and eating that amount of food (confession...usually my Shabbat dinner is a PB&J sandwich)...
Have you thought about opening a PO BOX so your fans like me can send gifts to you , your kids and husband? I don’t always comment but I love your videos. You are amazing!!!! 💙
RU-vid just decided I wanted to watch your channel...they weren't wrong! All I hope is that you own a doughnut shop somewhere because those are amazing! L'Chaim!
I loveed seeing the Dulce de Leche donut with the Stroopwafel (That is what that syrop filled wafer is called in The Netherlands a typical Dutch treat (you pronouncee it StrooooopWaaahfel, the O and A are pronounced as in the exclamation Oh NO, and the A as in Ooh Ahh) it is eaten at any time of the year, the Dutch donuts (Oliebollen/oilballs literally translated) are only eaten at the changing of the year, so Old years eve and New Years day. I haven't been able to keep up with the Dutch traditions as it pertains to St Nicholas as opposed to Christmas, but Oliebollen are an absolute MUST!! It just will not be a good new year without! Happy Hannukah to your Family. May the oil never run out and Shalom Shalom be on your household!
Well I’ve gained 50pounds just watching this video 🤣 you food ALWAYS look so delicious you love and hard work definitely shows. May you and your family be blessed by the LORD during this Hanukkah season. Shalom

Great ideas on donut filling! So happy to see your adorable kids helping and at the same time having so much fun with you in the kitchen. More blessing to your family!
This is wonderful and inspiring to watch. My husband said, "You're not taking notes!" LOL! I am not lucky with yeast bread recipes, and scared of oil frying, but this makes me want to try. May you and your family have a beautiful Hanukkah! Xoxo
It all looks amazing! It's always amaze me how Hanukkah is such a big deal in United States. Fear in Israel such a small holiday and while we do light the candle's and eat (too much!) sufganyot, never decorat the house and usually beside the first night of Hanukkah the rest of the holiday it like every other day! Love that you put so much effort to make your family enjoy and connect to the Jewish tradition Lots of love and light from Israel 🕎🇮🇱
Maybe my perspective will be helpful. I'm a Muslim from the US. We have two Eids, as I'm sure you know. We like to decorate and go the extra mile to make our holidays as exciting as possible for our children because we're in the minority. Christian holidays are a big deal in the US, so we want our children to feel that our holidays are special and important too as we don't celebrate the ones that are mainstream here. We don't want them to feel deprived. 😄 When I lived in the Middle East, of course the two Eids were a big occasion, but people didn't decorate or celebrate in a Western fashion. When you're in a minority religion, you cherish your own worship and celebrations more, I've found.
