Very good points! I would add that adjusting for your own preferences is a must. For instance, I never felt motivated by test scores and such, I find them to be a horrible way to grade anyone, so I just don’t do that. Raw time spent on the language is far more important for me, personally
Hi, I came across your youtube channel. I saw a video interviewing Vietnamese people speaking English. I don't know if you have ever been to Vietnam? Anyway, I really like your youtube channel so I subscribed. Thanks again for the very helpful videos. I wish you good health and happiness.
Thank you for your kind comments and words of appreciation. Yes, when I lived in Singapore for three years, I visited Vietnam on a number of occasions, once on vacation with my family, and twice professionally to visit high schools around the country whose teachers I had helped train at the Regional Language Center (RELC) in Singapore.
Hello dear Mr. Arguelles! An admirer of your work writes from Ukraine. My name is Daniel, I give cultural lectures at the Dnieper Central Library and, as part of this project, I managed to work with Richard Simcott, Alex Rawlings, Brian Lee Durfee, Dmitry Gubin, Markus Gasser and others. Tell me, Mr. Arguelles, is it possible to interview you for our library? --- Sincerely yours, Daniel
