Never in a million years would I have guessed that I would fall head over heels for a Swedish giant who does power metal. I am a flutist/pianist in Michigan and I wish with all my heart that I could meet you. My heart is the problem though. I have a heart transplant and I now need two valves replaced, which means a third open heart surgery. Your music has a wonderfully calming effect on me. Thank you.

You know, you see the name of a song that you have liked all your life, then you see Tommy Johansson's name, and you think...no...not sure he is going to be able to pull this off and make it sound good. Right, so, apart from the talent that obviously goes through the roof, both vocally and instrumentally. What I also admire about this man, is his good humor and positive state at all times. That is to be appreciated, because after all we’re all human beings, and therefore have got our own troubles, either health-wise, or family-wise, or u name it any other type of problem. But he never allows that to affect the quality of his work as a musician, and because I realize that is probably quite hard to achieve, man u’ve got all my respect. I just found Tommy Jay by accident… Like just now, and just heard of Eric Gronwall a few days ago. I am deeply saddened that he quit the band but his health is far more important. I’m just disappointed that I just found him and now he’s gone off on his own. I found Tommy 6 months ago with his version of “Your the Voice”. (Nailed it of course🇦🇺) I found Sabaton 2 weeks ago (from the comments) and of course Majestica, none of which gets played on Australian radio. I’m 51 and feel like I’ve been ripped off not knowing of these or other Swedish bands. (How many more are there?) Now, on the way to work I have Tommy ripin on the Spotify, lovin Tommy’s versions of popular songs as well as ReinXeed/Majestica. 🤙🏼🇦🇺
