@@DiegoGonzalez-go2qy why are you defending this guy? Not only does your comment not make sense but... Can you honestly not tell that this guy is a tool?
@@calebsherwood8841 My comment makes a lot of sense. You are just not able to grasp what was meant. That's not my fault. It is related to the fact that everyone is bashing the guy because he said the other girl was his first choice. And what I am saying is that in most relationships, both the man and the woman are not each other's first choice. The guy is a tool ? Why ? Because he is entitled and thinks too much of himself ? Just like those 20 women that participated in that show ? The level of entitlement of the blond one is way worse than of the guy. She was pissed off because he said to the brunette he was planning to pick her. And that's why she ruined the date. She deliberately wanted to make him look stupid on TV to get back at him for her not being his number 1 choice. She is the real petty tool here. I am not saying the guy is not a tool. But it is funny to see how everyone keeps bashing the guy while the girl was a bigger tool and nobody says anything bad about her. Reverse the roles and imagine a woman having said to a guy that he was her first choice and it is unfortunate he pressed the red light ? Nobody would have called her a tool and the guy she ended up with would not have felt this petty and ruined the date.
@@DiegoGonzalez-go2qy Obviously most people aren't dating their first choices in real life. Everybone would prefer to date Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry...but thats life, and you don't say it out loud because its very rude. Try telling a group of people that you'd rather be dating a person other than your current partner, and see how much sympathy you get. And as for the role reversal part, I flatout disagree that people would be reacting any differently if a girl had said that to a guy. Everybody would be calling her a stuck up bitch. How the women reacted had nothing to do with 'entitlement'. Everyone - from the ladies on stage to the host to the audience - was just very surprised that somebody would say something so rude out loud.
@@calebsherwood8841 You must be kidding me. So you are concerned about being rude in a show where women are constantly nuking unattractive guys ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eF1HXO1yTA4.html As an example, this guy has to hear that he looks too old, bald or whatever. "It is the hair ... the lack of it ... HAHAHAHA". That's really rude. And they almost all do it. Instead of just saying "He is just not my type.", women on this show are always pressing where it hurts the most. Even making faces of pure disgust when the host asks them why they don't like him. And everyone is fine with that. The audience is laughing while the unattractive guy is being destroyed by these women. Everyone finds it funny how the women are making fun of the guy.
Dragalge just going to point out while he was on this show he was engaged.... and pretending to be single to get publicity. Definitely not a ‘nice guy’
because he basically said he didn't want to go out with any of the people who were left. She was too good for him if he thinks he can just insult whoever he wants and get away with it. Good on her. Plus he's married and he only wanted a holiday out of the show.
@Yurg99 it's true, the way I understood it. it was discovered after he was engaged and his fiancée (also his agent) set this all up as a publicity stunt.
Granted he was an ass before the date, but there's a thing called second chances, and she didn't give him one. Clearly she didn't care about the purpose of the show, apart from the attention.
THAT WAS A FUCKING OPEN GOAL!!! How could he cock it up from there?!!! All he had to do was smile, apologise and play up the buffoon image. That's guaranteed to make birds go "well he's a bit of a pillock but he's honest and I can fix him."
@@YodaOnDMTyou’d be surprised how little women know about women when it comes to dating. Kinda like fish knowing nothing about fishing. But thanks for playing. 00
I agree with you when you say that it's not easy to be honest and nice at the same time, but I also claim that there is a fine line between rudeness and honesty. Just one example: If you're not asked wether someone looks good or not you shouldn't say what's on your mind if it's a negative statement. That would be rude. Saying it if you're asked is honest and if the person can't handle that it's not you problem. But that's just my opinion and you have yours so lets just agree on that for now.
I've literally just looked at these comments and seen how many people have called her a bitch well don't bloody judge the girl till you've met her she is one of the most nicest people I've ever met so until You have met her don't judge her plus you can't just say oh I don't like u I like her which was basically what he was saying so...
#TakeMeOutParody - I totally forgot all about Damion Merry, what a guy. Respect for him for taking his blooper so well. Some may well have disapeared haha
@@marcpower4167 publicity stunt for what? ive literally only ever heard of this guy through his viral youtube clip and this is the first ive ever heard about a fiancee
Was this before they reveal the love at first light? Because that’s effectively telling the girls they were second best when they go on the date with someone else.
@@BuckleyDiazClan if you see the show again you will notice that she was excited to be picked and even did a little celebration too. She did wanted a free trip.
Haha, no I'm not blonde even though that's not the matter right now. You're right, I'd rather be with honest people who speak out what they think rather than talking behind backs. But this guy just seems to be very shallow which annoyed me more than the fact that he's got hardly any manners. By the way, honesty and rudeness are two different things in my opinion.
He's a pillock but I think he just said something silly under pressure. I often put my foot in things. Shame that the girl lost a chance of a good date though.
I feel a bit sorry for him, not all guys are naturally charismatic but these high maintenance bitches are expecting Mr Perfect (who doesn't actually exist). I'd like to remind these single ladies that they too are on this show because they too cannot find a relationship. A little open-mindedness and patience is required.
You're joking, right? He was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I can't imagine any woman with self respect who'd willingly go on a date with someone who acted like that. Doesn't make them "high maintenance" or "bitches" to want a man with some basic manners.
Moa M How do you know it was intentional? He might be incredibly socially awkward. Okay I do understand that on first impressions he comes across as an asshole, but I'm just saying there is also the possibility that he is trying very hard.
He's trying very hard by saying one of the women is the most attractive out of all of them? Or by saying he doesn't want to date blondes with several of the women still available to him being blondes? Is he blind? I think everyone knows you don't say that, a little awkward or not. We need to stop making excuses for him and admit he's an arsehole. I applaud Chelsea, I'd be a much bigger "bitch" to him than she was.
Moa M Well saying one girl is the most attractive is just honesty. That doesn't mean the rest are unattractive? And I'm sorry but the whole show is basically about choosing whoever you like the look of most so they have to expect comments like that from time to time. But I think the further it went on and the bigger the hole he dug for himself there was just no hope and Chelsea didn't even really give him much of a chance to redeem himself. But don't get me wrong, I loved Chelsea, she was one of my favourites :)
She made up her mind to just act like an arse... rather than accept his apology from the beginning and to move on and see if he actually meant the apology. If anything the show proved that men can be knobheads and women love to hold a grudge
@hollyalice95 Holly the programme is designed to humiliate men, could you imagine the uproar if a women didnt get a vote and was sung at as pathetic gesture of condolence "all byyyy myself...." This guy slipped out what was on his mind, maybe it was nerves, definitely not insecure. The women have their pick, this guy had his pick, all fairs and equal. Shes just another blonde, next.
He didn't just say that he was going to pick lucy he also said he just wanted to try brunette cos blonde women would be difficult or whatever. So he wasn't honest or something just stupid to take some random girl just because of her hair colour. He was a total dick on that show, it was hilarious! And by the way: If you attend a show like that you should know what you're getting into, those shows are entertaining, not fair and nice.
He went on a show to find a date, where he really only had superficial information to decide between potentially 30 women. Of course he's going to be picking things like hair colour. He doesn't think before he speaks, but there's no way he was actually trying to offend anyone.
🌹🌹 she came on to find someone special and had to spend time with this loser, you only get one chance on this show and she was treated like this, I hope she finds true love 🌹🌹
two ladies light on. the other one manage to turn her light off. why Chelsea go with him while the other Lady manage to turn her light off and she was quite happy when she got him. hmnn kind of strange and when cam us on ..acting?!
oh my god come on girl he is not a serial killer. She doesn't know him. i like this guy because he is honest.Sorry mate girls like fake compliments and lies...
@BudgyProductions Well men go on the programme with the knowledge that this may happen to him and he only made it worse. That was sort of a stupid comment :/
i dont think he deserves to be treated like this, men are routinely humiliated on this show and society has been groomed to pity them, but this guys mistake was to confess who he liked, so in actual fact his honesty is being portrayed as a negative. I think he can do better than this dippy blonde.
