Since the split, HSCC continues to produce fabulous versions, but Darren was clearly the best audio engineer they ever had and Darren's abilities as a singer and musician are superb. Nikki's voice and her performances has always been wonderful and it's missed within the current HSCC "bad girls" lineup (although Leslie Williams is also terrific as are Kat and Pina). Perhaps the shame is that now that the Covid hysteria is dying down and HSCC begins touring, Darren and Nikki may not be rewarded for being such important parts of the world falling in love with HSCC. I guess the silver lining of the situation for us fans is that now we have two extraordinary Australian teams to entertain us!

We all know just how brilliant Nikki is, but sometimes we overlook how good a singer Darren is, and this combination is sublime.
