Do you have any good calibrated settings , I find the colors to bright and neon and the clarity can be smoother thnx in advance for any and all help , also , does anybody know where I can download the firmware , I can't download from the projector itself as my internet is slow with my router I bought
Is this a sponsored review? This has not been my experience so far. I'd rate it more like 3 stars only because of the weight. If it was larger It would be 2 stars. - Are you saying 629 lumens? Which mode? I did run through the same test and calculated to about 500 lumens in the brightest mode. In movie it was closer to 450 lumens. - Have you tested MEMC? It does not work well, creates tons of artifacts. Motion in 24p is some of the worst I've seen. - It is also nowhere near the resolution of my old $500 0.65" DLP 1080p projector from 2015. - Input latency measured at 133ms and I was unable to reduce it by going through several modes. For positives - lens is decent - autofocus and auto keystone work well enough, colors are bright but very inaccurate and cannot be adjusted due to the lack of CMS, white balance can be adjusted but not enough to correct the colors.
Thank you for visiting our channel. Indeed we did get 629 ANSI Lumens. What was your distance or image size that got you 500? My setting was user as the projector booted in SDR and colour displayed was not nice when plugged in my chrome cast. After few mins of manual colour correction it worked perfectly fine for us. The resolution can be enhanced if your projecting on appropriate screen and I was satisfied with my while wall.
@@APTechs It was 110" on a 1.1 gain screen, no keystone used. I don't find it dim and for the size it's bright enough in a dark room. Some of the other issues are more deal breakers.
Im looking to buy my first projector, mi questoon is how lo g does it last? What is its usable life , do i need to change parts like the light source or something?
It depends on the projector. LED projectors usually has shorter life span but most of projectors have 25,000 hours lifespan roughly 5years which enough to be honest
The image is much better than the Capsule 3, but the Capsule has a battery. However there are some big issues with this model including latency at 133ms which makes it unusable for gaming, very loud fan, and MEMC not working well.
It depends what is your priority. Nebula capsule 3 has android tv built in and other cool features where as L500 they provide Amazon fire stick to compensate the lack of android built in. L500 is much brighter and well noticeable in both day and night. 650 Vs 300 ANSI Lumens - you can see big difference. Nebula is portable and L500 is not. The L500 has triple laser which is really good in producing accurate colours. List goes on…
