Take That's first ever TV appearance on the Hit Man and Her in 1990 performing the unreleased song "Girl". Robbie was only 16! I kept this footage as I was there..
Who would have thought they would fill Wembley Stadium eight times on a single tour twenty years later? When you watch this, you'd think that would never happen. They had to work really hard to get to the top because pop music was declining at the time. It took Gary two or three years to find his feet in songwriting, and as much as Robbie hated Take That after he left, it was the best school for him because he could learn how to sing and perform without taking all the responsibility. Even his hated Nigel Martin-Smith was a lesson to him to know what he did not want for his solo career. They can all be proud of themselves because it's not common to still be together, getting along and being creative after three decades when you were stitched together by a manager.
my god what a precious video I love this song. What a fantastic memory this is a memory to be forever stored in my heart ... Love TT forever Mark love you ♡
Hi charlerythe1. I kept this show because I was in the audience that day. As far as i know its not avaliable anywhere but I will leave it on you tube for your enjoyment! cjk74
I remember staying up very late watching this at 2am! A year later they performed at my secondary school. In 2003 I met Mark in a nightclub toilet asking me for drugs 😢 Glad he came out of it and they all seem friendly with each other now. Miss Jason though. He was always my secret fave
I am sooo glad to know that I wasn't the only one looking crazy in biking shorts! The boys were still cute, though. The performance was great for first timers. Love to you for posting this.
Eu amei isso, pena só ter conhecido Take That em novembro de 2017. São os melhores sempre!!!! Gratidão por você compartilhar!!!!🙏💕 ⫩ 😍😘🔥🐬🍑🇧🇷⫩ I loved it, it's a pity I only met Take That in November 2017. They are the best ever!!!! Gratitude for you sharing!!!!🙏💕 ⫩😍😘🔥🐬🍑🇧🇷⫩
Take That put in all the ground work so that shite manufactured boybands!! like Westlife and all that followed could hang on there coat-tails. But now they have out-lasted them all and are even better now they're older, I love them even more now.
I was there that night and cobbed off with a local girl who which we meet every weekend on the dance floor any way enough of that love the hot pants gary
Oh DEAR LORD! :-P what a GEM! MARKIE!! WTF! were u thiking boy? that hair! but ah well! we all grow out of those 'times' :-) love it though! amazing! :-)
George Michael in Speedos, Take That with bare chest. THAT'S the proper boybands! How did it happen that now boybands are way more conservative than 40 years ago?!
Where have you been? It's not a secret thing that they sang at a alot of gay clubs when they first started out. They had to put their name on the market somehow, and this way proved to be a smart way to do it.
@ghilty0225 me too, i want this song !!!!!always will remind me of lil gayboy in making in me. they need to release this tune!!!!!! HM.. THERE is idea, tt greatests hits, rearrange, remastered etc. i would die for album like that. tumbs up if u agree. and we take it from there,
Ehm, obviously it was a smart way since they are where they are today. They where going NOWHERE back in those days so they had to do something. Read Gary's book and you'll know how it all went out.
Forget Gary - check out Ken Rapping!! Type - ' Ken Barlow rapping ' into youtube for some really embarrassing footage!! You won't regret it! Spread the word Barlow fans!! LOL
@ILuvTakeThat4Eva I agree that take that are brilliant, shame your spelling and grammar are so horrific it distracted me from the point you were trying to make
