One of the things I like about this band when they perform is, they're not just performing for the heck of it they get up there and have fun with each other. They have a very special relationship and I hope, even with Jason and Robbie gone they still carry that relationship.
I'm always a fan (italian)..I think that it is wonderful to see Rob & Mark, togheter again..they seem like two children who have found their favorite toy! :-)
absolutely brilliant robbie is a lot more relaxed and enjoying it compared to their 1st performance on x factor love them welcome back robbie gary amazing as always xx
This is even fucking better than their X-Factor performance! Wow! BRILLIANT. It's so nice to see them enjoying themselves too. Getting over that "first" performance together on X-Factor must have been a big relief, and now they're just living up these moments! Love it.
Wow! The flood and Take That ! I like a lot this song and the video because I can see London ! Hello from Italy ! Merry Christmas to everyone ! 🎄⛄🎊🎉🌲🌷🎅🤶👋🤗♥️
As someone who has loved TT from the beginning, well from the "Pray" era anyhow, it's just a complete joy to hear them and see them enjoying it all again.
I have never been a Take That fan or follower, but I really like this song and boy, do they sound good live!! Fantastic to see them enjoying themselves and most of all: each other! on stage.
Exactly. You've got Jason literally bowing at 3:34 and look at Gary's excitement at Robbie nailing that note. Unbelievable. I come back here every few years just to remind myself how extraordinarily that moment was. There's something so special about the note at 3:40.
you what's really nice? Yes the song is awesome, yes they sound great but FINALLY they are ALL back on stage and obviously LOVING IT! just so nice to see them relaxed, having fun and doing what they do best tbh
Baked Beans yes..it's true ,coz take that received more awards and more successful without Robbie.. they become more succeed and popular when they came back 4 of them and even 3 of them.. I love them more without Robbie ❤️❤️❤️
Robbie is BRILLIANT. He's not the biggest star for nothing. Why do some TT fans feel so compelled to rip him? I'm an American so was never a TT fan, just a RW one, but seems to me he's bringing some vigor and uniqueness to a band that perhaps sorely needed it...
@paulstearne all of take that can sing and they can dance, write music and play instruments , howard plays piano, guitar and drums and him and jason choreograph so they all deserve credit , they have worked so hard and are very greatful for where they are now so i dont think it fair of you to comment like that !
Didn't mean to be harsh on the rest of the band in my last comment, though...they are all clearly REALLY talented, esp live. I am surprised by how much I am enjoying this and them. Wish they'd come play the States!
@30Kristen Think it has to do w/ the harmonies. Jason is next to Gary I think for this reason. May be why they had Rob next to Howard when they first did the song live. He used to look at Howard to harmonize w/ him. Now he's more comfortable maybe they decided to move him to the middle since he sings the lead. TT take the harmony aspect seriously. That's why they sound so good live. Howard is king at that. just imo tho. From watching the Euro performances of The Flood I think J is fine w/ Rob.
Their all look great. But I prefer the performance they did the same evening on "back for good", 'cause of the meaning of the text... and the smiles I saw on Robbie's and Gas's faces
@30Kristen Well spotted. I just cannot believe so few people have picked up on this. Jason obviously feels uncomfortable making eye-contact with Robbie. That's either because he's just generally shy, which doesn't really stack up because he makes eye-contact with Gary easily enough, or he doesn't like the guy.
Love it! I wasn't a fan when they were young but their new album is great! But why do they sing this song live in a lower key than the studio recording :-?
I don't really like how Robbie is standing in the middle.. I mean, yes, he is the most famous and what not, but he was the one who left Take That to have a Solo career. Once he realised he was doing shite he just crawled right back to them. But anyways, great performance! They're great performers live!
@ingajd Yes yes I know that. I think my first comment was basically saying "he was shit". But we all know that just before he rejoined Take That he was doing badly and Take That were on the up.
Watch 3.36 Jason looks down as soon as Robbie looks at him then at 3.52 he does it again - in all 3 of their TV performances since reuniting - X Factor, Children in Need & this - Jason's been on Gary's side of the stage and kept well away from Robbie. Do they still have a problem?
I noticed that too. And I didn't actually know there was a problem until I watched this video and could see in Jason's (name looked up) behaviour that he had some sort of issue with Robbie.
30Kirsten I think your looking too much into this situation. Have you seen or heard the other performances Jason and Rob have done? Watch the live lounge special or listen to the Steve Wright podcast TT special. They get on just fine
@AsbestosInferno he wasnt doing shit, he has few giness wold records for most sold out concerts in europe and has sold the most albums in the UK this century, I don't call that shit.
Jason definitely seems like he's not really in to it as much as the others. His body language just doesn't look right. But also he was having trouble with his right ear piece, fiddling with it several times and licking it and putting it back in, (2:14) so maybe that was a distraction.
