Note 1: Some characters take different amounts of parry meter, that's why some took 2 and some took 1. The burst resets your parry meter. Note 2: Highly recommend playing each characters trial, it gives you a great chance to learn how you're meant to play the character yourself!
Was totally not expecting to like this game. But feel like they tailored it towards an older crowd with all the 80s and 90s retro stuff. I spent over an hour in the arcade. The character’s personalities are on point. The combat is fast and fun. I can’t believe I’m saying it but loving this game so far.
Oh yeah.. I am HYPED! I can't wait to see your coverage over ZZZ as I delve into this long-awaited game! Currently really enjoying Wuthering Waves on the side :)
Thanks for explaining this concisely. I haven't found the in-game tutorials all that helpful. I probably just need more time for it to sink in. I didn't even know about faction resonance. Now I have an excuse to roll Anton, Koleda and Ben together. Team Belobog, assemble!
The reason it didn't use 2 pips of the parry meter the third time is that different characters use a different amount to parry. Should say it in their skill descriptions. You also earn them back by using ultimate.
I really needed this lol, I've never played a combat heavy game such as PGR, Honkai impact and wuwa just to name a few so I need all the help I can get to actually play this game. 😅
Thanks for this basic teambuilding guide! More newbie focus stuff around release please! Most other ZZZ creators I've seen are already on a much higher level when talking about the game. Those who haven't played many games like this before or been in the betas might struggle to follow. Again this was really helpful!
Any advice on how to time character swaps? I feel like i'm still struggling to figure out who to use when, especially when you throw a support or anomaly character into the mix.
I'm still not sure if I get the combat because it feels like I'm mashing my left click until I get a prompt to swap characters to do a combo to do any real damage. Sure, I'll use a skill and ultimate in between but 99% of the time it feels like I'm mashing my left click more so than any other action game I've played. I genuinely hope that this is just an early-game issue and we'll be given more combat options later on because the first four hours have been a slog to get through because they all play out the same against the same types of enemies.
I absolutely know what you’re feeling. Knowing exactly what you’re doing makes a world of difference And at the same time, a lot of enemies early on aren’t aggressive enough. So it’s partly lack of knowledge that causes this feeling and also partly lack of aggressive enemies.
I really hope the game has stamina-independent content that I can just go ham whenever I want however long I want. Hoyo games are notorious for Time-gating.
Good video, decent guide. The presence of your face throughout the entire video made no contribution. Since you're not allowed to use any footage before the game's release, I suggest placing more enlarged images related to the subject matter and more pundits of elaborated information. Please prepare a script. Doing so will allow you to eloquently convey information and elevate overall performance. It will also help prevent you from fumbling over your words. ("I'm not quite sure;" or "I think it is something like" in a GUIDE video.)
I got the furry wolf as my guaranteed 5 star and probably every 4 star weapon in the game, but no chars... Anyone wanna buy my account for 50 cents? Out of all the 5 stars this is the only one I really did not want
Zzz should flop.. Skip button where genshin players putting on surveys ever since 1.0. Which was 1300 days ago was implemented in this game.. Now theyre saying "oh we value your time" Mhy should face karma of treating players sht.
The combat snd damage systems look like a more straightjacketed version of Genshin. Less room for buff stacking and reaction abuse. I dont like games that are so tightly confined but we'll see if the community figures out broken builds.
It’ll all come down to the characters and what they can do. Without the elemental reactions it’s more dependent on the kits themselves. Let’s see what happens!
@JelloZoneZero that's fair enough, and a very lovely response to a deliberately out there comment. i love your stuff man your genshin videos were always my first stop, on RU-vid. Hopefully I'll enjoy ZZZ and can watch your guides 😊
