Hey Jesse haircut how do you do somany hairstyles video at once? Do your call center allow you to do this for free? Iam always very proud when I see your notification for video come. I had never been knowing what perms is but you make it clear and perhap I do one for myself. Btw I am watching your chanal from beginning maybe we do 1on 1 hairstyles call for my benefit. Thx
Hi Jesse. Say you have a perm that has grown out. About half of it naturally straight and half of it is permed. Could you get it repermed or should you wait until it is all grown out and natural?
Got one yesterday and the rain/humidity flattened it, I rewet it and some of the curling came back, however I lost a lot of the tighter curls in the back. Very sad, but in a month I'll get it redone and pray the weather is sunny
I got my hair professionally bleached in 2017, dyed it ash brown at home with developer and color in 2018, did a bleach wash at home then toned it in 2019 and have gotten it cut about 3 times 2-3 inches each time from 2018-2022. I haven’t done anything to my hair sense 2019 but my hair is hip length would it be ok for me to get my hair permed? Edit: I would like to add I have wavy hair when wet but straight hair dry and have been trying many methods before thinking about a perm but my hair is too unmanageable and expensive in the long run. I have to use too much gel and my waves never hold. I really want a perm.
In all honesty i wouldn’t recommend it, Due to your hair being bleached even once will most likely result in your hair becoming either very fried or stiff, or completely melting off, although i’m saying that there are different types of perms, some stronger then others, if you do want to go through with it i would go into a salon and ask if they would recommend it.
I really want to get one but I don’t know if it will look good on me what do you think is the beat face shape for a perm? I might get a side perm aswell this Asian hair kicking my ass just poking out the sides
Ive been thinking about getting a perm and i got really straight hair. My hair doesnt seem damaged in anyway and is mostly clean. I have fine straight hair that runs smoothely and almost no hair loss yet but i dont know what shampoo to use. Im also relatively young at the age of 14 and dont know if its dangerous at this age but i just need answers please help. Thank you
I have high density, super straight hair that barely changes with products should I get a perm? and should i lower the density of my hair? I'm looking to getting a haircut to cut the sides and lowering the density, should I lower it or is a high density hair good for perms
Hi Jesse, basically my hair is like yours. Coarse frizzy hair with curls at the ends, soo I have a lot of volume. My thing is a want curls all over my hair not only at the ends. Do you recommend a perm even having this hair type?
Go check out my most recent video on styling curly hair and try that first! if it’s like mine you might be able to get away with styling it rather than perming 👍🏼
I want to get a light wavy perm, my hair is like Asian hair (that’s what my barber said) it’s thin and straight. Somewhat long I guess mid. I style my hair with suavecito so that’s the only product I use. He’s charging me 60 dollars for the perm. Should I feel nervous or should I continue with it?
I thought you were going to talk about a straight perm going from curly to straight. I have 3c curly coily hair and got a Brazilian keratin treatment. Only lasted month and a half before my curls came back fully. Is there anything stronger that can remove curls for 6 months but gives the soft and smooth finish of keratin treatment?
That's a bad keratin treatment you got or you didn't follow instructions to maintain the keratin in your hair. A keratin treatment should last you 4 months before your hair starts reverting back to its natural state. These are the rules you should follow to keep your keratin active for as long as possible: Wash your hair less, like twice a week. Avoid strong shampoos. Avoid the sun, avoid swimming in the sea or in chlorine pools without a swim-cap to not get your hair wet. Don't use products that might interfere with the chemicals. Don't get other treatments while your current keratin treatment is active. Avoid heat tools or use them with caution.
I’m 12 and I have very straight and flat hair I wear a hat everyday and I want wavy hair cut idk if I should get a perm because I don’t want my hair to get damaged hair so young and regret it later
I box dyed my hair months ago, the color is close to my natural color and my hair has been bleached before in the past year or two so would it be ok to get a perm?
You're fine Jaylin, I've been getting perms for the last two years and in between my bi-yearly treatments I get a root touch-up. I've never had problems with dry, damaged hair but I use high quality products, follow a strict hair cleaning regiment (you have to resist the urge to shampoo your hair every other day) and keep your hair moisturized
HI jesse, my hair is super straight when wet and after it dries its wavy on the 5-6 inch left side of the hair and straight 4-5 inch on the right side, should i perm even if its uneven then after a couple’s momths when perm ends i buz or buz first then perm?
I use the hair cream method and I scrunch my hair I did it for awhile and get like curls to my hair now👍🏽 so it def works it just takes time so be patient
what are your recommendations for hair products like bumble bumble brand what type whats the products called and the curl cream as well what is a good brand? to keep the perm healthy and longer.
Hi Jesse. I was thinking about getting a perm but you said at the end of the video that if you have naturally curly hair you might not need it. I have curly hair but my hair always seems to be dry and is impossible to style. I was wondering what products i should use to help me get the perm type look.
👏👏👏🥳🎊👍 Do you have to get a perm... best Q&A segment of this content, imho ... Well done .. Kudos on swift 500 subs.. could be due to lesser deployment of F-bombs 😂😂😂. 🙏🙏🙏 Keep it up , Jess! ❤️
No, it doesn't. Your hair is constantly being grown out from the follicle. If your perm somehow damaged the hair follicle, (which it wouldn't) then that would cause any hair or hairs that once grew from that follicle to never grow back Edit: I made this comment in response to someone who deleted their comment, I'm not commenting this in response to the original question
