One of my favorite aspects of fighting, if it isn't obvious, is the counter game. The best strikers in the world are excellent at finding openings in their opponents attacks. Sometimes it is necessary to "break the rules" every onve in a while in order to land your final blow!

Izzy uses his hip feint to set this up a lot too. His head movement and core are fucking insane when you break it down, but that's why his fights look so inactive sometimes. Great video

@Andrew Agreed, but that's entirely in the control of the referees. Give them the power to deduct points for intentional inactivity

This is vintage Wonderboy, probably what he uses most in his fights (in his boxing trades) aside from his rangey kicks

Lately my Sensei has been wanting me to work on the jab and coming into the opponent fast. I think I'll try this. Jab, then switch and come in fast with the other jab 👍 so much of it is footwork though and I am slow, 50 years old but I'll bet I can still do it.

The other “jab” is called a cross, or a straight right (or left if you’re southpaw). 😁 just keeping you up on your lingo my friend.

Love the videos, I'd share my experience with using this technique as it's one of my favorites, but I deleted the last one since people were being nasty about it. This seems to be quite the evolution from the classic pull-Counter, riskier but way more powerfull because of the sling shot from the core... I like It! Gotta try this eventually....

Floyd and Juan do this all the time. but they will do this off of a jab which is much harder as the jab is coming much faster. It’s called a pull counter. Should have posted videos of them doing it as well. Good work.
