Is he ever going to stop recycling the same material year after year under new titles, with content slightly rearranged? Is the McChurch model of baptisms & people flowing out the back door ever going to change? How about putting leaders in place who can’t even articulate the Gospel, let alone share it with anyone else? Something is very broken with this model of franchised McChurch. It needs an internal reformation that seeks Christ as the Head of all things, & not the best use of media, & emotionally manipulative environments. Raised hands in a manipulative environment isn’t success. It’s something to answer to the Lord for later, because it assumes He isn’t enough. I pray that after saying this movement did so many things in His name, He doesn’t say “depart from me, for I never knew you”. That’s a frighteningly real possibility in the McChurch franchise.

Thank God he pulled an altar call! All churches need to pull altar calls at the end of every message!! If your church doesn’t, maybe you are in the wrong church!!! The altar is so important, a place of ongoing repentance. He who says he has no sin calls God a lier. We need an altar of repentance every day, every service! Praise God for the altar and His Grace!!!

Your affirmation of yourself is good, but God’s promises are better to write think and effect. Don’t forget that “coming into agreement” with God means to also and even FIRST, to confess the “problem” you are having…that is the “humble truth”. He wants a relationship and a “talking over” of the particular problem. The truth is “beautiful” in God’s heart…the Truth can be that He wants you to know your weaknesses so that you realize how much you NEED HIM. “Without (Him)we can do nothing”. Name your sins specifically and the feelings you have about the “problem”. He knows before you even say the words. Ps 139. Confession is the way toward true “cleansing”. Then you will be a new clean vessel for His Truth. God bless you.❤
