video is taken in remote palce of Nepal called Dolpa AKA DOLPO and the video is of Juphal Airport, Dolpa, Nepal. please bear the quality and shot of the picture as i am new to it.
Thanks for posting. Brings back memories of a flight I took from there at the end of a trek in 1992. I'm sure the twin otter aircraft actually went downwards into the valley to pick up air speed after leaving the end of the airstrip.
It needs money. Nepal is a poor country. Reaching ready made asphalt to this remote place is almost impossible with the resources they have. These small airports are blessings for these people living in these remote mountains.
Namaste!! May I ask about the reconstruction progress of Juphal airstrip recently? I will go there trek upper dolpo in early September and worry about the flight... Thanks a lot!
Wtf it's too dangerous for the passengers and its crews. Fucksake the communities, local government, and leaders must take action whether it must be well constructed or its stopped to use of the airfield.
Phi công lấy chạy cất cánh được máy bay lên không trung cũng tháo mồ hôi hột .đất nước gì mà nghèo nàn thế .đường băng có trăm mét dành cho máy bay hạng nhẹ mà không tráng bê tông cốt thép nỗi thì thôi rồi tệ quá lượm oi...
It isn't so much about being poor, so much as the remoteness of these strips. That airport is under construction, by the looks of it when finished it will be a nice little air airport...well as much as the remoteness will allow.
you cannot just judge looking at one dusty airport you can check RU-vid you can find so many worse airports this this one simply check some airport in remote area in Indonesia Papua some of the south American countries anyway you must be very rich person
