I've always loved Kusao's singing... he's been doing character songs and original albums since the late 80s and just sounds super good all the time. Fun fact: one of his original albums had two songs set to the music of Samurai Heart and Faraway (OP2 and ED1 of Yoroiden Samurai Troopers). They're called 90s Paradise and Destiny, respectively. To this day, I still want a duet from him and Toru Furuya. It would be the best thing for a Saint Seiya fangirl.
@@user7fm9ed8z Yup, and in Saint Seiya terms they're Pegasus Seiya (Furuya) and Capricorn Shura (Kusao). Granted, Kusao also played Wolf Nachi in episodes 61-114 of the original series and Unicorn Jabu in Omega. All three of his characters had different voice actors at some point... And that reminds me Furuya lost Seiya's role to Masakazu Morita. I'm still not happy about that, was Kurumada's (author) fault from what I recall; he wanted to replace Shun's voice actor because he "sounded too old"... all the other Bronze Saint voice actors protested by resigning alongside him and they had to recast all five.
The one thing they got right in the dub was Shuten. Paul Dobson has a great villain voice (I have a soft spot for all three Dobson brothers thanks to all the Transformers roles they've done).
I think it should be 6 samurai troopers as ronin warriors Ryo of wildlife Cye of torrent Sage of halo Kneto of hard rock Rowen of strata Christy of wind. The six member of the group as Cye Girlfriend/wife and the mother of his psychic children. And f he we psychic sisters to that I came with in my dream forever and their psychic children to
I think Rowen's "Strata" already embodies the air/wind element, though? Apparently the element of ice is off-limits too since there was a Warlord of Ice (named Touryuuki) in a drama CD. That leaves really few elements for fan-characters, lol. 👀
