Stephanie has to be the most talented jazz pianist I have heard in a long time. Her phrasing and syncopation are second to none. Sheer brilliance!

Filming a live performance outside doesn't afford the close-ups and editing that multi-camera setups (as in television) afford the viewer. We do the best we can: I couldn't ask -- nor would I -- Nicki to get closer . . .

Isn't that a bit harsh? Stephanie and Paolo still produce lightness and magic, it's just a different style than before. As husband and wife, they also have no other choice than to find a style that suits both of them. Paolo is not a stride piano player, so ...

I did the best I could, Martin, but it is impossible to shoot two pianos with one camera unless I'd be running around distractingly. Glad you enjoyed the sounds.
