Bro, I really admire the confidence you have to talk to a camera like that in public like it's nothing.

This ship is a major upgrade compared with their other ship. It actually looks very nice inside. Hopefully this cruise line ends up doing well and survives.

That's weird about the drink package, although first cruises out not surprising. First order of business is always check the water in the sink, toilet and shower and let it run 5 minutes. That's from a state room attendant.

I truly have to commend you Jay! You’ve mastered the art of patience. I can’t stand it when things are out of order, especially after I've spent my money. The fact that you had to do so much extra walking, standing in the wrong lines, and even running around for a 2-cent sticker for a package you already paid for - that’s way too much for me. I would have been livid! LOL. All of this because they can't effectively communicate information to cruisers about these small hiccups and how to save time by doing this or that. Then the fact they couldn't even put up a EXPEDITED LINE sign so that people wouldn't waste their time is a big no no for me and honestly reminds me of a trip to the DMV in the 90's. LOL

It’s so fun seeing this ship in Tampa! I live here also and am so amazed at how beautiful our city has become. The face of the port area has changed so much in the past few years. So many amazing restaurants and coffee shops. Anyone visiting our city can definitely enjoy a few days here now!

I haven't been on A Margaritaville cruise yet, but I was at the opening of Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs in 2020, and I'm looking forward to the eventual opening of Margaritaville Island on San Diego's Mission Bay. Seems like the perfect spot to transform into Margaritaville. The project was delayed due to the pandemic. As for Margaritaville at Sea, its no secret that they have a TERRIBLE reputation for being cheap, low-quality cruises, so hopefully the newer Islander ship will be a wiser option than that old, tired ship they have been using. It certainly looks nicer. Good video. Happy travels!

We've noticed that delayed flushing on older ships especially on day one. Once we called the desk to let them know about the broken flush, a few minutes later we could hear an echo of flushing of nearby toilets as well as ours.

I didn't think that Crocs would be the best footwear to dance in. But here's J doing all of his usual tricks in said Crocs that we normal humans can only marvel at. Amazing stuff J. Haven't been on Carnival yet, but the best pizza I've had at sea has been Prego Pizza on Regal Princess. Not sure exactly what they do to make it taste good, but it's tasty.

The toilet sometimes can take that long to flush, since the ship is on a vacuum system it basically is like an elevator your toilet has to wait its turn to flush to maintain the complete system vacuum pressure, it doesn’t happen very often at all but I have encountered it at one time or another on just about every ship I have been on

Looks like a decent ship. The main characteristic of teak wood on the balcony is to have a grey, weathered look to it. Definitely looks bad, but that is just the way teak wood looks when it's older and weathered. Although, I'm sure they could oil it and maintain it a little better, also.

Our Icon Of the sea’s infinite family balcony had the same toilet flush issue. I assume it’s a pressure issue, might not be an issue but by design? Sometimes it would flush but it would be 5-10min delay.

man, i was expecting a trainwreck based off of the last ship of theirs that you covered. this one doesn't seem too bad, and the prices are reasonable.

Honestly, this ship is very comparable to Carnival. Honestly it seems pretty top tier to me. That Atrium looks Amazing!
