There is no normal thought process that we all go through in a fraction of a second when making big decisions. There is no "What if someone sees me shoot him? What if he fights back? What about my friend with me right now, what if they tell on me?" Those are the basic IMMEDIATE questions that most people are able to process without even consciously thinking about it. They ESPECIALLY cannot process the more complex consequential hypothetical scenarios. "How will his mother feel when she is told he was murdered? What will the community think of me when they find out I killed someone for nothing? How will I be able to live a successful life if I am in jail for murder? How will HE be able to live a successful life if I shoot him?" The thought process that is so secondary in nature to most people when they are making consequential decisions that affect their entire lives isn't even happening for a lot of these murderers for simple decisions, let alone for what will most likely be THE biggest decision of their life if they choose to carry on and do it.

(unless you know you have active warrants for your arrest) I think that just opens up the door for automatic arrest which is easily avoidable by just cooperating,and getting a warning or fix it ticket and going home. I don't see how going to jail and spending hundreds of dollars for an attorney or being in jail until they can appoint an attorney to you is a more intelligent choice rather than just cooperating and getting a warning or a small ticket.

Also being a woman with a kid is considered. She played it safe instead of taking it to the box and got a great deal. There was always a chance she could have gotten a not guilty verdict by the jury. She told on herself by taking the plea deal and saved everyone time, money, and the possibility of getting off scot-free. That's why she didn't tell on herself in the investigation. She held her cards and played what she had well.

Yikes !! What kind of horrible families do you guys live in ? If MY son was accused of murdering someone, I would assume that he was innocent !! And not because I walk around with my eyes closed, but because I know that my son would never be in a situation where someone might get killed !! As a Canadian, it's easier to be smug, but I don't know anyone who is in a gang, I have never even SEEN a gun (except once in gas station while waiting to pay behind a police officer, and then it was properly holstered and locked), I don't know anyone who has ever known anyone who was murdered, yet, somehow, I live a good life. I live without fear, rarely locking my doors, and enjoying a dog walk at 3 am if I so choose. I cannot imagine living like the people in these videos.

She got a head buzz from smoking. She isn't a smoker, so she wasn't used to the nicotine. I am a heavy smoker, and even I can get one if I either smoke too fast, or I have gone too long (as in days) without one. They are not fun. I doubt she gives two craps about her child, or she wouldn't be out committing crimes. She was already out on probation, and should have realized that crime isn't worth it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that even if she would've stayed out of prison, she wouldn't have much to do with her daughter's upbringing.
