Zero u saying that we humans can’t clean ourselves but they can despite the fact that we have showers and toilets yet they have nothing but their tongue?
@@Aurinkohirvi A weapon by definition is something that is created and used as means for violence, which the cheetah is not. But don't mind me, I'm just picking on words really. The cheetah is definitely dangerous, but divine all the same.
Viktor the victor it’s called a metaphor bud....don’t get so literal with actual definitions. Point was that cheetahs are built to be efficient killers...like a weapon.
I've had squirrels yell at me all the time for being near them. I can't go in my backyard in late summer and parts of autumn or they'll throw walnuts at me
@@AnywhereMiami before I get upset at your comment I would first like to ask if your meaning in general or are directly making this comment towards Dolph the guy in this video? I'm asking so I can get a better understanding on what exactly your saying.
I want to lay on the grass under a tree with a big kitty taking a nap with me, feels like all my problems will just disappear into thin air for a good while..
Yeah especially if she attacks you its pretty guaranteed that all your problems will just end there... permanently that is. Also her tongue is worse than sandpaper.
@@MikeRayer01 The problem with such animals is that they are not domesticated (a genetic process), they are predators, felines are not exactly the most eusocial hence empathic of animals (no quite the team players though exceptions exist) and what is worse is that they have the nasty habit of going for your neck, which makes instadeath a very high probability. Even dogs are not always predictable and trustworthy and they were actually "designed" (bred) to be compatible with us, plus nearly all canines are team players by nature.
cheetahs are really weak when it comes to big cats. A human has pretty good chances against a cheetah, and especially this man in the video since he seems to know a lot about cheetahs and would know their weak spots in case of aggression
❤👑Paola Animates👑❤ However, it can also mean that it just doesn’t like being pet there! Cats are very picky on where they like to be pet so it can be any of those reasons ^^
❤👑Paola Animates👑❤ not really , my cat trusts me and let’s me run his belly but after like 40 seconds he attacks my hand , some cats just don like it ://
She was so sweet. I spent nights with her and Faith, her friend and Eden would also lay her head next to yours and push gently, trying to sneak rub her scent glands on your cheeks. She did it in a way like she wasn't certain I'd react badly about it. I 1st thought she wanted the pillow and pushing me away, but them let her push and she rubbed instead. A very special cheetah.
MrGriff305 lol so you’re implying I’m a douche to animals because I don’t like cats? Cats ARE dicks and plenty people with cats know that don’t act like you’re above me because you have a cat
MrGriff305 I used all caps for one word hardly enough to base an entire comment over then you call me a douche. Yeah you have nothing to say so you throw petty insults
Samantha Burwell you seem like the type of person to buy another cat after someone breaks up with you. I’m not going off only my experience I’m going with the people i knew who were always good to there cats and still get scratched. Doesn’t matter if you spend years with a cat he’ll still would rather fuck off. Before you start making dumbass statements acting like you know my whole life actually stop being delusional. If your cats are mostly good to you great but that still doesn’t change the fact the most cats at least as they get older become more and more like an ass
Shadowof CAT It doesn’t matter if it’s a “love bite”, it’s the fact it’s a cheetah giving a human a bite and would have no control, which could do a lot of damage.
Phil McCrevice and to your second point, that’s why cheetahs just walk up and greet us every time we get around them, right? Because they know they could kill us? If you haven’t noticed, most animals are naturally “afraid” of humans and if any idea even remotely similar to what you’re suggesting crossed it’s mind, it would be attacking him because it would feel threatened due to natural instinct, not thinking “yeah I dare him to fuck with me”....that’s ridiculous. Maybe their companionship has something having to do with him being his source of food and shelter. Or that studies have shown that animals release oxytocin in response to their owners. Truth is, we don’t know 100% why this animal cuddled up with him, so I don’t think it’s your right to comment on my opinion, and I don’t see anything wrong with leaving an unknown factor up to imagination. Sorry for the rant, but your misogynistic and vacuous comment really caught my attention. It’s exciting though! I don’t normally have drama of any kind, so I thank you for the entertainment. Have a great night.
Fun fact: of the big cats, the African Cheetah is the most timid. They’ve been domesticated before in certain time periods like Ancient Egypt and in some zoos, they got breeding anxiety to an extent where Labrador retrievers were introduced as littermates as emotional support and socialization tools.
Many people see Cheetahs hunting, running, killing, resting, or raising their young in documentaries, TV, or zoos. I wanted to show people the up-close and personal side of Cheetahs. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful their personalities can be. Cheetahs are not considered a 'social' cat but they love, display affection, love attention (the tamed ones) and very interactive. Watch how nice some Cheetahs are.
rubbiebubbie You are correct. The video is getting a lot of attention and I don't want people to think this is the norm. Cheetahs are FAR less aggressive than other big cats but their temperament is not like your domesticated ones. Tamed ones have similar temperaments to domesticated cats but not exactly. For the wild ones, not even close.
@@patrick-xu1go Cheetahs can't roar though lol. Robber would be so confident hearing nothing but purrs until they open the door & see that it was that big fucker purring😂
@@krispalermo8133 That’s because despite Trump’s claim that he built this great wall that’s gonna keep all the Mexicans out forever, all they really did was upgrade the existing fences and continue building a flimsy, easily climbable metal fence for 15 miles.
Raised Phoenix Actually cheetahs are not true big cats and mountain lions are the biggest cats that can still purr.

VeroMithril - I agree. Spending time with a Cheetah is safer than the same amount of time with a Bengal Tiger. But a Bengal Tiger makes great home protection.
Bear in mind nothing was actually done to the original wild animal to produce the "domestic" cat, there's no difference between the wild cats living in the sand in Egypt and the domestic cat, unless you count the very recent weird breeds like persians. As opposed to the significant alterations from wolves to produce dogs. So it's pretty easy for a cheetah to have a much better personality than some housecat since they are individuals after all.
@@medexamtoolscom Also, I'd imagine that as a (relatively) big cat the cheetah might not feel the kind of prey-anxiety that a house cat can feel around bigger animals. So she might more readily approach a human because she doesn't view a human as a potential threat in the same way a house cat might.
Cuddles and purrs just like one. Rubs, nibbles, suckles, rubs cheeks, lays on you for warmth, snuggles, warm, allows hugging, petting, and scratching... who knew all this from a wild animal.
@classic- potatoes Because she is insecure and always wanting to suckle, mouth you groom you like a baby. It is because she thought her caretakers and volunteers are parental figures and it soothed her. She did the same to her cheetah friend Faith.
@@CheetahWhisperer love the special bound between you and Eden. Cheetah's are one of my favorites felines. From their technical skills to get a prey to how female take care of their cubs, learn them how to hunt. Thanks for sharing this precious moment with us.
@Tyler Fox I've been bloodied before by interacting with cheetahs, sometimes they slap me, or pinched my thumb too hard but mostly from their grooming which cuts my skin and they don't do anything differently, same friendly cheetah. I did a video about it and Gabriel laps up the blood, keeps purring and grooms me still. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vlE8jED-x3k.html It is because cheetahs don't see people or their friends and family as prey. When they see you as family, they will protect you not kill and eat you. Besides, cheetahs that eat together will groom the blood and guts from each others face and body after a kill and meal. They know what is prey and not. No predator is at mindless killer.
Since felines are able to lower the papillae on their tongues, and she didn't, my guess is that she's paying you the ultimate compliment: you're an honorary feline! Since you're a feline (of a sort) you're supposed to have fur to protect your skin, so she treats you to the rough tongue. Lucky you.
+DIOSpeedDemon Or does Chicken taste like Humans? *Le Gasp!* Like that one saying, "Why does everything taste like chicken? Or does Chicken taste like everything?"
@@flxgld7096 Actually, you can hear the cheetah purring in the video while cuddling. You know that thing cats do when theyre conetnt and happy, purring, that? Yeah shes doing it. Plus a human isn't part of a cheetas natural diet, and if she felt threatened she would bite with enough power so sever or sverely damage a hand, foot, or maybe even lunge at the face if shes threatened AND has gone days witho it food. Every apex predator knows neck=death, and she clearly trusts him. Edit - Also if you try and pull the "I'm joking woosh lol" this comment also helps to teach others looking here who might have that opinion.
Its absolutely mind blowing that cheetahs have so many things in common to house cats! The purring, the "biting", the way she keeps her head up before laying it down on your arm... Spectacular...
PixelToast Glad you liked it. I usually watch this for a mental pick-me-up. I am betting that certain genes inside the cells of Cheetahs has ended up in domesticated house cats. Wonder if they bred them with other lessor cats to make smaller ones. I don't know.
Dolph C. Volker Supposedly cheetahs started the taming process at a few points in history, including with the Egyptians, but haven't completely finished the process. It seems like that tongue must be much worse than the typical housecat! ;-)
Dolph C. Volker Ouch! I have a house cat that can raise a welt on my hand if I let her lick in one place for long (the only cat I've ever hard that could do that), and it's immediately painful if she licks a sensitive place like my face. This definitely sounds worse. O_O
Nerys Ghemor You have some idea how much It hurts from a Cheetah groom. Granted each has a different scale of pain to it, the males are much worse. Their tongue spines cut into you the first lick and they love pushing hard down on it to feel and taste your hair. It's torture. I bled from Eden's grooming sometimes. But I let her do it to a point because they love it so much. Helps bond with them if you let them groom you.
fubukifangirl ive also heard they are the biggest cats that can actually purr. lions for example cant cuz it requires purring while breathing out or something like that which they cant do, they can only kinda roar lol
Yes, my cats which are pretty much house cats do the same thing, anything else sticks up, they will bat at it and chew on it especially if it's covered. They see it as a mouse underneath the brushes or anything else underneath the brushes
Technically you can, but some complications and some licensing is required, also by following the law if you're actually allowed to have a wild animal as a pet.
Genus Entertainment I actually heard that Cheetahs might be even less aggressive than house cats! Still I wouldn't want one in my house, or anywhere near me! I generally do not trust cats of any kind.
At this place and Running Wild Conservation... yes. RWC is more concentrated on doing the releasing but but projects have successfully done it. CHeetah Experience.
@@rubiolo1019 cats are kinky for sure , i mean have you seen the way they mate ? It's literally a rape , the male cat bites the females back of the neck to limit her movements hitting a crucial nerve and just keeps biting down while penetrating her . It's some kinky shit for sure
Seeing this reminds me of a story mom read to me off Facebook. Basically a man was out on the serengeti looking for wildlife when he decided to take a nap under a tree. When he woke up he found a cheetah sleeping next to him.
I've come across that story myself, complete with photos supposedly taken by the sleeping wildlife photographer - but the photos were just still frames from this exact video.
She is soft and sleek on the sides but head and neck are woolly. Wiry underneath but in winter, they all get fluffy with their undercoat growth. it sheds in summer.
Having a cheetah want to snuggle with you is extremely rewarding and inviting. They just purr and purr and many treat like a parental figure. Quite amazing. I'm not all about snuggle. The reason I have 2 cheetahs is to help populate their species with ethical controlled breeding, cubs raised with mom, and planned release.

Yes.... the frequency of cats purrs will have that effect. It gives some people asmr effect. It's reported that it helps heal soft tissue, like an ultrasound.
Only humans can look at this wild cat and think "ima cuddle and tame it, sleep under its tree and let them use me as their pillow. What. Can. Go. Wrong." But honestly, this video is amazing. Her purring is super cute. And the way she rests her head on you. Just awwwwwww.

I can't think of anything that would be considered "bonding" with a wild animal, like this clip shows....It takes complete trust, and complete vulnerability, for an animal such as this Cheetah to be able to allow any person to be this close and comfortable to it. It also speaks volumes about this mans intentions....and integrity.....this Cheetah adores this man....outstanding video.
