Good to here from you again. The barn was built in the mid 1800"s. We had it redone back in the late 80's because it needed lots of work. The roof rafters were about 6 foot on center and the roof was sagging because of the long span so we had additional rafters installed between the original beams. So yes it is post and beam with some modern wood for extra support. Eric
It sounds like it has a miss. Ours never sounded like that unless it was under a very hard load. Here is how it should sound once all of the injectors start firing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tw6OyCLsWgg.html
You may have something. Yours does sound very smooth. I did have the pump rebuilt a couple years ago. I have not touched the injectors yet. I will look into them. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks. Eric
Don't get me wrong, the one I showed you is not ours, I had to get rid of it when my parents died suddenly and didn't have a place to store it. The video I used for demonstration is another 450. I am trying to find one now to fix up. I love the old 450 diesels. I plowed many acres with one when I was a kid.
