- For anyone who doesn't know - A season is a time for balls and other get-togethers so that the ladies who are of age can find a "suitable" husband, preferably someone who has a high status in society. Then they consummate the marriage and ideally produce heirs. Most of the marriages in the show, and in real life, were just about producing heirs, but some marriages, like Daphne's, turned out with them loving each other.
You mean the mutton chops? NOBODY liked those. I think his hair (on his head) was fine, but in the 2nd season; it looks like how Hamilton did their costumes/ hair dressing. Period clothes from the neck down, but have some hair have a bit of a modern twist to it to blend the two together. But I really loved Anthony's entire costume/ hair in S2, BRAVA SHONDALAND!!!
@@irissupercoolsy yeah, I liked it...it's period accurate style. And looked really good on him, IMO. Shame he shaved them for his season...he easily could have kept them and still be the love interest in his season. 🤷♀️
Lol, corsets were actually not that bad. Its hollywood who has gave them a bad reputation. And actresses who use them are not given the correct ones. Also, why would you put your actresses on corsets when you put them on clothes that are loosed .You can do some research on it if you are curious.

Y’all the most they are gonna do is season 2 ep 1 they won’t do a whole season there’s only so many jokes that’s can make about one show and if they have viewers that didn’t enjoy this by continuing this they loose views and money, it might be RU-vid but it’s still a business for them
it's even worse when you realize they're whole purpose wasn't "being sold" to their husbands... their families even had to PAY the husbands to take them as wifes

In those times the girls parents give the guys money to marry their daughters. It was called a dowry, and that was supposed to be so that the girl could maintain the life style that she was raised in.
I will admit that i've watched both seasons just for the dresses and the beautiful actresses 🌝 this show is all about gossip and marriage which are the worst things to me in life Also its sad to be honest to realise how women were raised to be non educated and have to learn how to be entertaining for the men 🌝
I don’t know how this is just occurring to me now but Anthony must have been smelling heavily of sweat and sex when he met his family before going in to have Daphne presented to the queen because not only had he just finished what was probably a marathon of sex with Sienna but immediately after that he rode his horse from what was presumably the countryside back into the city without going home to clean up and change. All of that to say that Antony had be extremely pungent during the time the ladies including Daphne were being presented and there is no way in hell that people didn’t know that he was busy getting busy before he showed up.
