The May trip was SO much fun .. I'd like to share for all reading that everything Bethany planned was "pitch perfect". Bethany was SO great about working with me regarding a disability and limitations (some of which I discovered ON the trip) and it was just so great to spend time with a super group of people. We got to experience NYC, geek out with books/authors/publicists and share tine with fellow book lovers. Bethany is a great planner and guide ... and great fun! I will absolutely do this again!

Getting paid for work? Wild 😂 but yea the adsense has been ROUGH so I feel you, was always so impressed you did this full-time with how inconsistent that end of things can be

Lol!! Right?! YES adsense has been awful this year, and then other streams of revenue have been less reliable too.

Do what you need to to live a happy and fulfilled life. Even from a subscriber point of view, content is the most fun to watch then the creator is having fun with it. I'd rather get less of it and see you continuing to enjoy what you're doing. I wish you luck on all of your other avenues and can't wait to hear more!!

Totally understandable. My revenue from YT is no where near a replacement for my day job. I was always impressed you were able to make it work

Yeah, I started when I couldn’t afford to work with the cost of childcare here but it’s evolved. I am grateful to have a partner who can cover a lot of the bills so I can do more creative things but it’s just not enough at this point.

Would LOVE to do a trip like this in 2025!! The November one sounds fantastic but is 3 weeks before my wedding haha. Also way to go with prioritizing your mental health and making some great choices for your needs. :)

I used to make 2-3 videos a week too and it’s ALOT then I got a full time job and I’m definitely not making as many videos so I completely feel you!

I have never been super consistent with my channel. It’s just a hobby for me. But I ran my own business for 7 years and it was out of my home the whole time. Switching from that to a job where I get paid for my time, I feel that sentiment so much. I wish you luck and I’m still glad we’ll get to see your videos, even if they are less frequent!

No worries, plus you're branching out with your creativity and I admire that. Also, it's hard to juggle everything and get a video out, so definitely understand a once a week video schedule. I would love to go, but we're actually planning to go to the Lego Land in New York summer of 2025. Not sure what else we'll be doing.

The fall trip sounds amazing! I'm also in the middle of going back to a more formal type of work myself this fall, so I don't know if I'll be able to make that work with the trip timing-wise, but I really want to go so will if I can. Is there some kind of deadline for how long the trip + hotel will be open for registration/deposit? If I can't make it this year, I'll keep my fingers crossed for 2025!

Your future plans sound very exciting! I wish I could get back to your area for one of your guided tours. But Arizona and NYC are a little distance apart . Maybe if you plan something in 2025, I can plan to attend. I will be ready for a nice vacation. BTW - Do you have any plans in the future for tours in Boston or Washington DC ? Best wishes for your future endeavors !
