I could never do this to my dog. She would be freaking out/stressed. She love other people and dog etc, but being away from me is not easy, even if she is with her dad. She still struggles with my absence. I once squatted down to tie my shoes and the sheer panic when she realized I wasn’t right behind her anymore, she started sprinting back and when she saw me again the relief was very apparent.
