This almost made me cry. I’ve always struggled when it comes to my art. To the point I’ve almost dropped it entirely because of this, even though I genuinely enjoy it. I really felt it when you said how everyone makes it seem so effortless. And I am incredibly happy you’re not afraid to show the moments when you are unsure, because it’s easy to think you’re the only one. Thank you.

Dude. It helps me SO much to know that I’m not the only one who struggles. Now, I do have a bunch of friends who also struggle, but seeing a professional artist like you struggle is strangely comforting. I really love that you show your struggles with art. I’m learning watercolors, in my late 40s. And I struggle every time I pick up a brush. I never doodled as a kid, and don’t feel I have a lot of innate art talent. But I like what the colors do, they’re so pretty! So I just keep going and maybe some day I’ll be good. In a decade or so! 😂
@suzannelebeau4503
@suzannelebeau4503 7 месяцев назад
Just keep at it! They say it is "miles on the brush" that will keep you improving. I also started painting later in life. When I set a goal of 30 paintings in that year, I started seeing more improvements. It took about 5 years until I was consistently painting like my mind saw it, but I love the process of learning. I STILL see many mistakes, but now they are just more advanced mistakes! Lol
@Justyouraveragechaosenjoyer

No rules say what age you become an artist: you’re called to make art? So be it! So long as you’re trying your best and enjoying what you do, that’s all that matters. And don’t fret the mistakes, even with art school you still would make them because humans are error making machines! Coming from another error making machine lol Wishing you well in your artistic endeavors!!

Yay! Congratulations on taking the plunge! I also am just beginning to try watercolor at 48. I've dabble in art on and over my life, but never got really good at any one thing (ADHD) and never watercolor. But now I have nerve damage in my dominant hand and can't do mixed media or art journaling the way I used to. I've decided that learning watercolor with my left hand will possibly be easier than other mediums. So I am just beginning to play and do very basic stuff. Just having fun. Best wishes with your watercolor journey!

They're on the hunt for something, but in this forest they feel like something is about to come out at them so they ready their first strike, unsure of where the danger will come first. Her owner is a part of a server called Hermitcraft (currently on a break between seasons) and the HermitCraft community is one of the best I have seen. There was so much Jellie art being shared, so I got out my watercolours again. I must have just been subconsciously absorbing what you have shared, I completely surprised myself. Instead of trying to make it look like the picture of Jellie, I made it looks like a watercolour cat, and it's probably one of the best things I have done. Thank you!!
