I was just thinking about that line when I saw the saying, don't confuse attention for love and intensity for intimacy 😂 this line popped into my head after.
That's because HDtvs weren't available yet back then. Trying to watch old videos that haven't been upscaled on modern TV's makes them all look like shit. They'd look better if you were watching them on an old CRtv
I started getting into this band by MakeDamnSure, tye next song in louder now. Great album, really. I am the biggest hipster when it comes to music, I fucking hate the new "songs" like Bitch Better Have. My money, no effort put into that at all.
Nothing like listening to this whilst thinking of skateboarding with friends after school, playing PlayStation 2 transitioning to the Xbox 360, decent cartoons, MySpace, and so much more. Nostalgia.
I love how Adam has MASTERED the Mic swinging. Like Duncan with a yo-yo. I love it. And the song is catchy too. This has been a good album since i kinda spiced up the TBS collection. With all of the other Albums there were deeper, more down-town songs. Whereas Louder Now pumps it up a bit with more upbeat songs, although the relationship message/theme has hung around. Awesome music video guys!!!
TBS has the honor of the first CD I ever bought, as well as my first concert when they opened up for Weezer and Blink-182. Glad the band is still killing it and Adam is swinging mics again
I went to the Vegas one too, they were awesome. The crowd for TBS were amazing. I was drenched in sweat while throwing those magic cards up in the air that they gave out for free. xD
Yep, I use to listen to this CD in my high school days obsessively! I remember this guy who worked at Hot Topic suggested it to me when I was shopping at the mall.
I learned of this band from a T-shirt I got.. XD I would have never listened to them if it wasn't for the T-shirt.. I love this band. It's one of my favorites now. ~Checkers
Mics are still for singing, not swinging. ...no matter how cool you look doing it. Anyone else end up watching this video over and over when it first came out, mesmerized for some unknown reason?
I'm 17 now, this is the songs played in my childhood i was sorrounded by people that always played this kind of music. now looking back and comparing todays music which i dont like, i didn't really enjoyed much of this i was 4 when this was released on youtube and youtibe was just made also. I really wished that i was born sooner to enjoy more of this kind of music having friends whos listens to this kind music to talk to and stuff. But i cant they all listen to trap, rap, dubstep etc. i cant relate. Now i just search for old videos from the past that i know and like and admire its beauty.
definitely brings me back to the days i would listen to this song about to go the woods and ride the trails, wish i had my youth back😭 still gets me in the pumped up mood
All our secrets they are tailored trouble Draped loose now around your hips Your spotless instincts are valid We co-exist Got 26 days to work with (got 26 days) We've got 26 days to work with (it moves, it moves, it moves) We'll see what all gets done I'm an addict for dramatics I confuse the two for love You can't tell me that you don't beg Liar (Liar) If we're keeping score Then we're all choir boys at best (Intrusive and arrogant) Liar (Liar) If we're keeping score Then we're all choir boys at best (Intrusive and arrogant) Got 26 days to work with (got 26 days) Then back on that island That you swear by Still barely can afford It's still a question of "How long will this hold?" Wild to think this came out 14 years ago. While I've listened to this band plenty of times since, I probably haven't seen this music video since it came out when I was in middle school. This video still blows me away just as much as it did back then & personally I feel Taking Back Sunday is a bit underrated for their music videos. They have seemed to always make top notch ones, and this one is too. The nostalgia and art for this one is so vibrant, though. I remember when I was younger my friends and siblings and I used to try to see if we could do as good of a job as Adam did here making it look like he ate a key, we could never do as good of a job, maybe close a few times, but never exact haha. Oh, the memories. Being stoked about music videos on VH1 and the countdown for the best ones of every month or so. It just takes me back man.
The mind tricks you into thinking the present moment sucks so you can constantly improve your situation. You miss the past, anticipate the future. Whatever it is, "now" always sucks. That doesn't mean this can't be destructive, and it definitely doesn't mean you can't control your mind.
sooo so sosos happy I got to see them for the first time ever this past Sunday. i've been a fan for over 7 years so it was a huge deal. &they played this wonderful song
@OneLightOutMusic music like this is definately not dying. music as a whole is expanding, not always in a good direction, but music like this isnt dying. as long as there are fans of this music there will be some who play the instruments, form bands and use these songs as inspiration to write new ones...
Never heard these guys till 4 years after my huge emo phase !! Still emo lowkey but without the big fringe and cringey things anymore 😂 I love this song as of right now ♡
I feel like hearts shouldn't do that. I'm pretty sure my heartbeat would not make detailed animations of great bands. Or any bands. At least, I hope not. It seems vaguely unhealthy.
