Love hearing Eva's off-camera coaching magic to get these stunning shots. The ballerinas are ALWAYS stunning (and this one is no exception, she is amazing!), but it really requires a special blend of both photographic artistry as well as a complex understanding of ballet to be able to bring her vision to light as she does. Eva, you need a coffee table book, girl! I'd totally buy one.
The ballerina clearly has unmatched beauty, talent, strength and more! But the fact that the photographer knows exactly how she wants her to move/pose to get such stunning shots is a talent all on its own!
I love you for bringing this strong side of ballerinas. Cause ballerinas are often showcased as elegant soft and light , yes they are but they are also the best eg for strong determination ❤
I can walk past furniture and smack my knee on every sharp corner because my brain loses track of where my legs are. I'll bet that never happens to these amazing athletes. Such elegant control!
I gotta say I just love seeing younger folks with this kind of energy and discipline, involved in art like this and its art on multiple fronts. Coming from someone born in 1980 and wishing they had access to equipment like this when they were young and had the time, now that it’s not cheap by any means but definitely more accessible, I just love to see another generation taking advantage of that to do something really cool. Good job ladies!!! I hope my daughters follow a similar path in their own way!
Her legs are amazing I'm in awe perfect condition the amount of training to achieve. Stunning....and pictures to capture this are truly amazing work of art. Oh I so admire
So as awesome as this is on its own I love that the music still has the power to instantly elevate it. I can still remember the first time I heard this song. Thank you Barbie for including me to classical music and ballet!
It is interesting to note the lack of flexibility for touching her fingers behind her back. I didn't expect that. Beautiful lines, beautiful model/ballerina, exceptional photographer. ❤ Thank you.
It wasn’t a lack of flexibility. The photographer asked her to put one hand on her back and one by her neck. You can see in the photo how beautiful her hands look placed as they are rather than grasping each other.
@Lisa-vb3gn I wouldn't expect them to be "grasping," but fingers touching would have been more visually pleasing. It's the "gap" that doesn't do it for me, personally. It's still a beautiful shot and, of course, beautiful specimens.
