very informative. I previously thought the offering of salt, rice and salt was being done and being replaced on a daily basis. Thanks for the video, now I know

Both the Tsubaki Shrine and the Shusse Inari shrine recommend removing everything at the end of the day. The orientation of rice and sake depend on the shrine with many shrines putting the rice forward of the Saki. To the best of my knowledge, offerings should be fresh with no mould.
