When I was a little girl I was sexually abused. As and adult I have allowed the pain, panic, and fear to consume me. These past three weeks I was in the darkest spot of my life. This sermon was life changing for me. I’ve been crying out to God ... but asking the wrong questions. I am ready to persevere and find my purpose. I do matter to Jesus. My life is important. Thank you God for loving me. I will continue to push and try to find my purpose.

Thank you Jesus for this man of God. I've been watching your sermons for a few weeks now. And let me tell you everyone I came across i needed to hear. I struggle with depression, anxiety, and sever panic attacks. I have 5 tumors that make it all worse. One is on my brain and the problems it's causing with my health is really bad. The headaches is way beyond the 10 level. I see a brain and spine surgeon next month. I have 3 tumors on my spine and 1 on my right adrenal gland. Those are hurting me and causing major problems with how my brain works. All this has been eating me up inside all year. I decided to get all new doctors this year because my old doctors didn't want to help me in the way I need help. So I put it in God's hands to send me to the right doctors to help me. Pray for me. I give God all the glory. Amen and again I say Amen!

I was doubting God, when I saw this sermon, no way this is a coincidence, I believe it's God's doing. I was asking these questions" If he's in control why are all these things happening" but I'm better informed to ask a good question and not otherwise. I pray that the Lord enables whoever is hearing or has heard this sermon to not let his or mind make him or her feel like nothing, you are valued by God that's why he paid the price for your sins, he won't do that for someone without value. What does it mean? I’m 22 now and live completely sober & happy but most importantly I’m closer than I’ve ever been with God and it’s because of him that I’ve gained everything that I once lost. I'm watching this in 2024 and it is such a powerful word that is timed perfectly. for my life. I had a coaching session yesterday touching on how i have sometimes let outside voices distract me and I'm in a place where I am learning to trust myself more, my purpose instead of outside voices. this sermon meshed perfectly with what i was discussing with my coach. I woke up having a panic attack, tears streaming down my face, and I asked God to please take it away. Take away the pain and the fear. I asked God to speak to me, and I decided to put on a church sermon to hear from God instead of a TV show to drown out my fears. It goes without saying that God spoke to me and gave me peace. Instead of asking God to take away my pain and fear, I'm asking God to grow me through it, knowing that God has the power to heal me, but has decided instead to teach me.

I've heard many of Steven furtick's sermons but this one touched me so deeply. I've been feeling since I was young very rejected, alone and questioning my existence. It's even harder now that my son has severe autism and we are isolated and feel cut off from society. I would always question why I had no family and no help but I realize God is really all I need. They attack you and then expect you to apologize because it's your fault. After a while it makes you think it might actually be your fault because you're a bad person. I have a list of people I am seeking forgiveness from that will not take responsibility for hurting and controlling me yet I can't seem to have peace because I just want the peace that can only come through forgiveness. I do take responsibility for being a knucklehead at times but I just can't keep going through this with people!

True. But when someone "takes out their pain" on others (for whatever reason)...are they not causing pain to another person? Disregarding another by telling them not to " take it personal" is hardly an answer. Each situation is different. For those who choose to use their pain as a way to justify acting with hatred and malice, they should not be surprised if they are treated in like manner. Even if just rebuked. As Jesus did rebuke his adversaries..and at times even His Own. However, if one is truly a child of Yahweh then they Will be corrected by Him...if they are not, then they are bastards and not true sons and daughters of Christ. If one is in Christ then they should have self control..This does not mean they have to trust or even associate with someone who is continually causing them pain.

You ministered to my soul. As I have been struggling with worry ( what if ??? ) you said it word for word. I was making breakfast (in my robe). My hours at work ( two jobs) have been cut. I woke up in the (middle of the night) with overwhelming feelings of why ? With my adult kids ( relationships) from a divorce, that was not my decision, but I feel I'm getting the wrath of it all 😢 my favorite verse is Phil 4:7, which I prayed and cried out to God last night, saying you are bigger than my kids, my job and all the WHAT IFS ??? In my mind, right now. Take this feeling of overwhelming circumstances that the enemy is placing in my mind/ thoughts! I decided to prop my phone up while making breakfast to listen to your sermon, I'm so grateful I did... as I feel God was speaking to me through you... like you could see me and feel my pain. If you could please keep me in prayers for restoration with grown kids, I would appreciate it much. I never leave comments on RU-vid pages, mostly because I know it’ll never been seen. However, this Sermon pulled my heart right outta my chest and pumped it back to life again. Theses last few years have been tough. Divorce, moving states, new job, single mom, in and out of horrible relationships. Saturday was my breaking point. Saturday was the day I finally lost all hope and tried to take my life. Luckily I wasn’t successful. Part of me feels like I didn’t take enough pills on purpose, knowing it wouldn’t be enough to take me out but at least enough to knock me out for some time. Waking up was hard. I’ve never felt so lost, confused, angry and sad in my whole life. Today wasn’t much better. Slept 90% of the day and when I was awake I just cried uncontrollably. I’ve been watching Furtick for over a year now but lately I’ve been skipping past his videos, just not wanting to hear all the “God talk” Today though, God left me no choice. I opened my app and this video started playing right away, without hesitation. I stopped and listened. Steven, thank you for what you do. It’s people like you who give people like us hope and strength to some how keep going. Thank you. Thank you for saving me. Thank you♥️

Just letting you know 1 year later … working night shift as a pediatric home care nurse, this message matters!! I grew up in church but had the faith of my parents and not my own, lost my youngest son to drowning 13 years ago and ran from the Lord. It’s been and up and down battle since then. Over the last couple of months our new business has struggled beyond belief and I was so so close to divorcing my husband because I selfishly thought he was supposed to make me happy….I was overwhelmed by stress on angles and then I was reminded only God can make my happy! On May 18th at 2:02 in the morning GOD WOKE ME UP!! I rededicated my life right there, just me and God. I know God has a purpose for all the pain and I know He wants to use my story for His glory. Satan has tried to tell me “Oh but your not ready yet. Wait a little while and make sure this sticks before you tell someone.” Right now in this moment I am refusing to believe this lie!!! When Jesus called the disciplines it says they immediately stopped what they were doing and followed Him. They didn’t wait till they were ready, God made them ready! I have struggled with fear and anxiety my whole life but I refuse to be controlled by it or what other people may think. I will never be good enough…but my God is and HE matters!! Thank you for this message 🙏

This shifted my focus. I was asking the question, "what is wrong with me?" for so long. Now I'm asking, "Lord, why is the enemy so intimidated by me, what purpose and plan have You placed on my life, that he feels the need to convince me that there is something wrong with me?" My girlfriend just cheated on me after almost 2 years of dating and I really am glad I found this. I tried to be so good to her and I couldn’t understand until I just realized that god just closed that door for a reason. I was thinking everything was my fault and I was in a really bad place. Took me almost 50 years to come around and submit my life to Christ, fifty years that he was there for me regardless of my faith. I always believed, but never considered myself worthy of his love or even a relationship...today I'm living in my Lord's ways..turned my life over and accepted him completely... it's never too late..PRAISE Jesus for his NEVERENDING love of his children..no matter how broken they believe they are...

Every time i get these wrong questions bothering me.. A preaching from steven automatically show up to my feed. God is great all the time he know when i need answers. He is always beside me specially when i am doubting myself

watching from the The Malvern Hills in England - I was saved three years ago during lockdown when my Dad preached the gospel to me and I heard several amazing testimonies from some christians I met in the street, I then prayed to receive the Holy Spirit and encountered Jesus which has totally changed my life forever. This message is AWESOME, I already put it in to practice in my work place today and had a completly different day - will continue to upgrade my questions to see how my experience shifts - thank you so much for this message - very transformative!!!!

I lost my sister and was so upset that I did not get home in time to say goodbye and my Son sent me this video to help me understand why. I focused so much on the anger and pain of not being there that I was feeling depressed. And after seeing this video I realized that I should rejoice that she is with God because HE called her home. She is not in any physical pain. My Son saw this and he led me to your video. It truly has made things so much clearer. Thank you.

I’m from a small town near south bend Indiana and you spoke to me pastor Steven. I’ve been feeling convicted lately with a lot of things. And God is working in my life right now. I need to learn to obey and trust the process. I have been so bitter lately. But I have to do what’s best for me and my 7 year old little girl. Thank you for always being so uplifting and encouraging. 💜 you’re the best speaker I have ever listened to aside from my pastor at church. You guys make it so relatable. 😢

“Rejoice my way back into sleep”... as i am up at 5:30 AM with no sleep because thoughts came into my head and I didn’t let the phone down to atleast tryy to sleep, but emotions suddenly swirl and hit me like a storm, and so i go to the gospel songs, and just found this video today

What works for me. Is , I'm with my Best friend Jesus. We have a number of places we go. Serena, peaceful places. Now you have to pick one or two. Go there with Him and just relax,close your eyes. You find yourself thinking, go right back to the same place with Jesus. It's like anything else we have to do in life practice,. practice, practice May you be blessed with sleep. Luv ya,. Julie🛌

I am going through the hardest time in my life right now. A relationship I hoped would last a life time ended and I am praying that we will find each other again. Listening to this video has made me ask new questions. I am filled with anxiety and sadness and I pray that God Almighty will deliver me from this heartache I have.
