You can do it at anytime if you have a controled environment/temperture

Hey James, sorry it took so long to reply. I have about 75%+ success. It doesn't matter how hot it is the key to get them to root successfully is to water consistently everyday because when you miss a couple of waterings is when they will start dying.

What type of soil you used?

@@froliceye I used a cheap top soil mixed with dried peat. The peat holds the moisture better.

They have done well they are now in the ground continuing on the hedge.

I tried but failed too...I used potting soil as well.

@@TYT695 Ill try again next year using sand see if I get any better cuttings this time. Its so annoying.

@@casperwallace9685 try a humidity dome, cloning gel works well too but make sure to dilute it. dont have damp soil, moist soil is key.
