Today I was playing with my friends and got a reaper to spawn so we killed it and it spawned another one immediately

Now this. This is the awesome generation zero youtuber crossover ever in history.

This is my take on the easiest way to fight the reaper on any difficulty without him blowing himself up. EMP is actually quite useful. It doesn’t completely disable him like it does with the other machines, however if you pay extra close attention, it does “stun”/daze him for a brief few seconds. And perhaps the most useful aspect is that EMP rockets can prevent him from using his Thermobaric Explosion momentarily - it will completely interrupt him from doing it, and he will either have to try and use it again, or he may not at all if you run behind cover, giving you more time before he inevitably activates it again later. When he gets down to 10% health (his health can be checked using the tech view on your binoculars, looking at the “status” percentage), he will try to blow himself up. This will lower your overall loot pools by a moderate margin. He also releases a small cloud of red steam when he is at this 10% threshold as an indicator although it is subtle and not easily noticed if you are in combat with machines. If you are playing on Guerrilla difficulty (hard), the trick is to just keep shooting EMP rockets from the Experimental m/49 Launcher when he is in the process of activating his Thermobaric Attack, and swapping to the Experimental Pvg-90 and mag dumping on him to do the highest possible damage. Do this and he will not be able to blow himself up before you destroy him, guaranteeing you the best loot, provided you time your reloads for both guns properly and have enough EMP and .50 big ammo of course... the Experimental Klaucke 17 can prevent him from using this, but it’s risky. Also worth mentioning, he may not use his Thermobaric Attack to finish himself off at all if he cannot see you. Meaning you can keep taking shots at the 2-3 weak spots on his leg from around a corner without him being able to see you, this doesn’t always work 100% of the time, but is a viable strategy if the above cannot be met.

I have to give a shout out to the devs. This game is a work of art. I play on ps4 and personally have not had a single bug or glitch since i started playing. Thank you for the med kit and ammunition blueprints as well. That was a great addition to the game. I have yet to get my first experimental weapon but still hunting. I love this game so much. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Me and my friends found the strat of going up to his face with rockets, experimental sledge, and exp shotty. He was getting bullied by how much he was being staggered. There’s an easier way to do it but, this was my personal fav.

I wood love to see some medieval weapons like bows with explosive tipped arrows and maybe some flame arrows that would be really cool for stealth like fights

This was entertaining and good tips. And as much as I like the experimental weapons. I do wish there were more options to then. Like Exp version of a Sjőqvist, AG5, Magnus, HP5 for more options in uniqueness.

With all the work and time you spent in Generation Zero, nobody deserves the red-carpet treatment (time with the Devs) more than you do. G.Z. is still the most underrated game of this past generation. Hopefully, the next few years will foster many more titles like it...

Me and my friends were killing the reaper we killed it but another reaper spawn XD

We had a reaper spawn but it didn’t show up on the map and it scared the crap out of us is there a glitch where it doesn’t show that it spawns

Dl you need to kill all rivals in a region to get another to spawn or it can just immediately spawn another one, also I managed to already kill one reaper which I asked my friend and he said he didnt want to help so I killed it my self and it's easy just a bit annoying when it spam the nuke.

Hey i have a melee idea for console so you know how you have the settings you can change it to hold y or double tap y well what they could do is have it so you can have a slot for a melee weapion and a side arm like a hand gun so if you want to switch from your hand gun to your melee you double tap y to do so or hold y deponds on how you have it set up or if they choose to have dual weild you can have 2 hand guns in both slots hold y or double tap y to bring your other side arm out

I've taken down 2 reaper so far and man that the most ammunition I ever spend in a fight 5000 round of 7.62 FMJ from ExKvm 100 round of 50 BMG from ExBarrett and 50 round of HEDP from a 5* gustav

Question for whoever sees this: where might i get the reasorses to craft bullets Ex: explosives, and lead?

im so sick of this game... slowly but surely i dont wanna play anymore.. ugh everyones getting this stupid robot and i never get the luck im already at level 24 on the farmlands region, been doing nothing but killing machines and running around for 4 days everyday when i got home i really cant see that stupid game anymore it wastes so much time for just one idiotic enemy that doesnt even spawn
